Everything I have been recieving lately is made in the orient or south america.
Last night i missed a "weekend spirit" show,a friend called and told me about an outfit she thought i might like.When I went to iQVC to view it....low and behold it was made in Russia.Stan Herman is head of the AMERICAN Designers board but his garments i have recieved are maked made in Mexico.And I love Dennis Basso,I once bought a great suede blazer from him and I could not wear it because it had a terrible chemical oder.I called customer service and the rep said,"yeah,when they make them in China they use a chemical to dye them that stinks"......FYI the blazer was made in China.I realize that to make a suede coat that i would buy at a major store for $500-600+ and bring it in at $100 they have to go overseas......but at least let Quality contol pick up the slack.

$pender, I wonder if Dennis Basso is misrepresenting his clothing line. He always boasts how is clothes are manufactured in both NY and NJ. I'm sure his factories are sweat shops, but he always says his clothes are Made in the USA. what a bunch of bull, if this isn't the case.
I can't stand to listen to Dennis Basso. He sounds like he swallowed a frog, regurgitated it and swallowed it again.

Hey ,don't take it out on the people who post on this board,just because you and your boyfriend had a lovers spat.I'm sure with your witty mind and great sense of humor ,your prince charming will come along.By the way...is what I see on HBO's "Queer as Folk" the way it really is or do they exaggerate?

UGH! Is it possible to answer a thread that Steve isnt on? :( Yes, Dennis Basso's voice is unusal to say the least! Sounds like he needs to cough something up.

It seems allmost anything I order from QVC anymore has a made in China sticker on it or made in some foreign place. I dont like to buy things made there, but it seems unavoidable. That's why tey charge a cheaper price. I always think of someone working in some sweatshop somewhere for pennies.........
