Cats - My neighbor across the street (divorced) works nights and leaves her 14 year old daughter and 16 year old son home (DUH) and they have all their friends over until nearly midnight every night.

It's like living in the middle of the CITY..... the kids have NO FUCKING RESPECT for anyone and make as much noise as if it's the middle of the afternoon. My dog barks his head off & I'm going out of my mind. How many times can I go to the the front door & tell them to keep it down? That only makes them more obnoxious.

Don't even get me started on this subject!!!!! Ever find yourself wishing a car would barrel down your street and kill someone?! Funny you should ask that. lol Last summer...... I mumbled to myself, "I wish a car would HIT THEM & put me out of my misery!" I went inside and half an hour later, I went outside.... saw a neighbor holding my garbage can & found out a CAR came down out street & hit my garbage can..... knocked it 2 houses down!!!!

I gotta work on perfecting my EVIL CURSES, huh?

Still in a real crappy mood today...... better take a break before I BREAK SOMETHING. (Like someone's fucking neck! hehe)

Things here are the same old thing...work/home, work/home....at least the weather has cooled off. We dont have air-conditioning, and those 90 degree days are killers. I went down in the basement to cool off, and after a while that didnt work either. At least I got the toyboxes cleaned out, and the basement straightened up.

What light through yonder window breaks? Tis the sun, and my dog wants to go out and chase yonder bunny rabbits who are even now chomping on yonder neighbor's vegetable garden! Can y'all perchance hear the danged racket out yonder?

Mel, if you don't get some rest soon, we may have to take drastic steps and kidnap you and take you away to Camp Zippy for some Rest & Relaxation! Zippy will take care of your pets, George will "build" you some Chinese food, Thuggyloo will most likely be cranky from nicotine withdrawal and I pity the fool neighbor who tries to make noise and bother you while she's on guard duty! We'll all go over and swim in Lola's pool while she is on lifeguard duty and I care and Fundy girl will mix us all up some nice Pina Coladas while coffee entertains us with a "noontime story". Don't worry about bringing your swim suit - smashing sandy will crochet you one. Geri can bake us all some cookies, and Cats will help her play some games so she won't miss her WebTV too much. The rest of the gang will sit around the pool looking beautiful and adding to the luxurious ambiance. I know it looks as though I'm not planning on taking a real active part in all this, but well, someone has got to be free to think all this stuff up!

LOL!!! I found myself in the basement a few days also! I finally relented & turned on the a/c. We don't have central and I just HATE the noisy wall units..... it has to become unbearable before I turn it on. I really should replace it with a quieter model.... I just hate the idea of going to the expense when the old one still works!

The trouble with getting my son to make his OWN NOISE is two-fold..... he's in camp during the week while the mother is sleeping and it's also more than a little fool-hardy for a 12 year old to antagonize a dozen teenagers. They already treat him like crap..... I try to keep THAT at a minimum since I can't patrol the whole neighborhood when he's outside playing.

Yikes!!! It's almost time to wake him for camp. Arrgghhh. Don't even want to think about CAMP. Hahaha
