I was told by some friends it really pays to join.anyone here a member?

$pender I know my mom's been a member for years. She told me you can join now at 50 . Imagine 50 a senoir ? I was shocked. But she calls them alot on some things she mentions to me and I guess she gets alot of info from there. Most magazines have a 2 magazine try me for free ,AARP may have that . Would be worth looking into before you subscribe and may not like it.

Yes, I am a member and it is worth it if you use hotels at all. They have wonderful AARP discounts at many of them. THey have two magazines now one for those still working and one for those who are retired. Has some interesting articles. Membership is only $10. They also have other discounts that I haven't used.

I got a quote on car SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM and saved about $250 year, so I joined and switched ins. companys. You can get a quote on line and Hartford is the company. Hotel savings are also good. HATE the image but like to save $$$!
