Is this new QVC host Laura Lu?

Does anyone know if this new QVC host is the same Laura Lu that make the finals at QVC. If you remember she said that she worked in the record industry and so does this one. Laura Lu also said, I think, that her mom was in New Mexico and with her name it sounds Latin.

The one that really knows is the woman that recognized her because her husband works with her. Now, if she could chime in we would know.

On the All-Access radio news website,I found news about a new host on QVC.
Congrats to former UNIVERSAL RECORDS NOO YAWK Local Promo Diva and ex-radio programmer JACQUE GONZALES-JAMES who beat out over *** applicants to join the QVC NETWORK as its new on-air host. She begins training on JULY 8th, and hits the air in AUGUST.

Does Laura Lou live in Pa ? I wonder if she doesn't live there ,if she'll move there now or wait till her trainings over ? i remember Crista so happy that she was saying to David Venable Yeah I made It I'm A Full Time Host Now. Is She married ? If she is wonder what her husband will do about his job ? Pretty cool we'll get to see her on the air . I give her alot of credit not something i would want to do. I mean what do they do if there on air and need the bathroom ? sometimes there on air 4 hours. WoW good for her .

Do you think QVC would actually let their hosts post here? I was surprised she shared as much as she did knowing she had a chance to host. She never said anything bad about QVC, however, she did share personal info. I know the hosts read the posts because last time Lisa R was on with Nick Chavez, he said something goofy and she said "Oh, Nick, have you been reading those threads again? They're sooooo funny!!"

Laura Lou lives in New York City if I can remember right.

If Laura Lou did get the job QVC may tell her not to write here again. That is why the person that says her husband works with her will know and may be able to tell us.

If she did get it she may not be allowed to ever write again. You know QVC keeps a tight reign on what they what people to find out about their internal affairs.

True she may of had to sign papers saying what she can and cannot do. Just that it wasn't long ago she posted here. Said she's been busy that's why she hasn't posted. I'm sure if we go way back here we can find out who worked with her husband. But she may of told him to tell his wife not to tell us on a post if Q wont let her . Who knows.

Laura Lou, I am so happy for you!!!! And even though I don't know who you are I think my hubby does!! Don't you guys work in the same place?? He told me that you went to audition. If currently you are working for a big music company in NY then its you!!! He always talked about you and how our Qvc packages would get mixed up sometimes!! lol If it is I am so happy for you and your secret is safe with me!!! lol CONGRATULATIONS!! I really hope you get it. Can't wait to tell my husband Tony. (If it is you of course....shhhhhhhhh )

Hey, I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd jump in here. I just love the outer banks in North Carolina. There are a lot of private beach houses to rent (or condos if you prefer that.) They are very reasonably priced and the area where the homes are located are private beaches so you don't have to fight tons of people making day trips.

I think a lot of people gave a lot of positive energy to Laura Lu.I think it would have been nice if she had at least told us her good news.If need be ,she could have said she was grateful for our good wishes.That she could no longer post and show some class.If she did not want us to know about her chance of being a host at QVC,she should have never mentioned it at all. I have noticed that while she was a regular(daily) poster before,now she is all but gone.LL If you are reading this ,you really suckered in a nice group of people who wanted nothing but the best for you.

So far this is all we know. She may not be able to tell us . Well hopefully it is and she'll do great at Q and we'll see her on there .

Shana you're such a good slueth! You can always find things on the BB fast! How do you do that??? I can tell you ladies that I, Laura Lou, did not make it. I regret nothing that I've posted, whether personal or not. I shared with a wonderful group of women here that were very receptive and understanding. I have grown and learned from all my experiences in the past to help me live my life even fuller today! Some might agree and other might disagree...that's what makes this board fun! Thanks Lisa for pointing it out...Who knows if they allow employees to post and chat with people, I guess in time we might just find out more. Thank you ladies for your inquiries, I appreciate it.

My mom went to the hospital yesterday for tests, she's having chest pains and using those nitro glycerin pills 2**x a day. They said that nothing serious is there right now to cause them to do surgery...but they're going over the tests this weekend. They had already diagnosed her with a bad heart valve. So I'm worried about her. Then to go from bad to good...my brother and his wife had a healthy baby boy tonight. Life is just amazing isn't it?

Dee Dee, I have been around the board..mostly on the fun Word Game later at night! But I've had to stay off the computer due to my mother being ill this week. I only have one phone line at home...and can't do both at the same time. Guess I need that telephone ringer thingee that goes with the computers to let you know if you have a call coming in. Trust me, I appreciate every single one of you more than you know and knew nothing until today.

P.S. In my job at the phone co I did fraud ,so had alot of investigative work over 20 years and now my friends that an attorney if he needs something investigated he calls me. I'm no PI by no means.

Laura Lou, I thought it might be you. Apparently, the article said something about the person working in radio and working as an ex-radio programmer. I thought that you did the same thing. The new girl worked for Universal Records. I thought you worked for a big record company in New York. She was also an ex-radio programmer. I thought you were a a radio programmer in L.A. before you do what you do now in N.Y.

Also, I thought your IP adress was like two hundred and five point one eighty-eight something. Not sixty-four point twelve something. So you know if it is you and you cannot say maybe you could give us a signal on air one day. You know like Carol Burnett use give a signal.

If you really did not get the job then how did you find out? Did QVC send you a letter telling you? Did you just not hear from them? Did you get a call from someone?

Thanks so much Shana. My mom wouldn't go in the ambulance her doctor called for her earlier this week because her hair and make up wasn't done! So she sent them on their way and drove herself to the hospital. I had her promise me she wouldn't do that again.

Don't know why the IP address would be different. It's all been from the same computer at my home. I got a call from them. They called and spoke with everyone to let them know. I thought that was nice instead of getting a form letter...which a lot of companies do.
