I'm a local comedian out of austin tx, just having trouble getting started in the biz. I know its a dirty game where only the strong survive but it makes no sense to me that the people who are in the postion to help, young up and coming stars make it to the top really don't. Like club owners they have alot of connections that they only share with certain comics not because thier a better comedian but because their friends with them. me personally I would rather be on stage because they think i'm funny not because were friends an you owe me a favor. so what i'm asking you is...how will I ever win if they keep starting the race without me.
