According to VARIETY and ZAP2IT.COM, Moral Court has been cancelled after only one season. It's too bad, because it was a great show, but ratings just weren't high enough to make a go of it.

I was just begining to appreciate a daily lesson on good moral values. Moral Court had become the talk around my town. Something different and exciting to watch and debut about the topics and decisions made by Judge Elder (He is prefect for the part). Well would'nt you know it. Now its canceled. People are just finding out about it. Of course it's all about money and rating.

would love to know which issue of Variety that you read about our "cancellation" in. Let me know so that I can get a clue - my understanding is that Moral Court has taken a "recess!"

Hey MC Producer where can I get pictures of Vivian or how about the infamous video tape that sent to Howard Stern.

Love MC, but it seems Judge Elder has become a little soft lately when he gives his judgements, unlike in the beginning.

Maybe if the program had been allowed to maintain its 4:00 - 5:00 a.m. time slot for people going to work to watch in its entirety,it would have done better. This program was entertaining and gave out very good moral advice. I didn't mind when the station networks changed; but, by changing the time, I could only watch it for 1/2 an hour instead of the full hour. Bad move.

I dont think this show is dead yet! I watch it every night at 1AM on WCGV UPN 24 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. ..decisions made by Judge Elder (He is prefect for the part)... <--what a perfect quote. This man should be president! Larry Elder should be our first black president. The hair has stood up on my arms when he has made a point. I am very critical of TV like most all of us, but this show has class that puts it up there with Maury and Montel, making a REAL DIFFERENCE in peoples' lives, one family at a time. Just think of the ripple effect! The potential of some of these shows is staggering!!! Please anyone who reads this.. your Moral Court needs to be back in session! Please post, that probably really is the MC producer's post up there, the networks will be watching for your comments!

Too Bad!
Best court/talkshow on TV
He is fair, reasonably and applies common sense to all the judgments
He should take his type of moral judgement and common sense to the oval office.

MC Producer — I am glad to hear Moral Court will be "on recess". I think it is an excellent, thought provoking show. I have great admiration for Judge Elder and wish I could have consulted him on a moral issue I had at the time of my father's death.

I'd go so far as to say that this would make a great show for teachers to use in the classroom to stimulate discussions on issues of concern today in our country... which seems to be in need of some good old fashioned moral lessons, starting at the top with Former President Clinton, Rev. Jesse Jackson and so many atheletes, actors and musicians who serve as role models to our youth!

Some inside info.
Moral Court seemed to confuse people. Many thought the guests and their
situations were made up. The audience also didn't understand that Moral Court
paid the money to the winner. The looser didn't pay the winner. By the way, all
court shows work that way, the show pays the money winner, the loser doesn't pay.
More - In NYC and LA Moral Court started out at 1:00 a.m.
No one watched in the two most important markets in country.
For that reason alone, some thought it didn't have
a chance. Seems they were right.

They shouldn't never cancelled it because I would like to see them to make a Were Are They Now show. Like that stupid wife who wanted breasr implants instead of new family car for the family. Also what happen to that slut pornstar and her big husband who wanted her to stop and quit the business. Did he loss some weight and deep sixed her ass. Bring Back Moral Court! Bring Back Moral Court!

My site has a huge topics archive from the show if you wanna remember some great moments. www.geocities.com/entertalkmentsite If that does not work, just go to Geocities and do a search for ENTERTALKMENT. I have pages for all the other talk shows, too.

I am sorry to see such a good show was canceled. I don't normally watch daytime television, but grew to be a fan of the show. The producers should reconsider giving the show another shot. There are a lot of people who would benefit from sensible advise.

To: The Producers of Moral Court

BRING BACK MORAL COURT WITH LARRY ELDER!!!!! Why not promote a tevelison show about trust, honesty and morality. Is anyone out there really listening to our feed back in regards to the show. Moral Court and Larry Elder have many fans, they love him and the show. People were just begining to here about it. I just happen to see it one day when I was home during the day from work. I then starting taping the show and soon there after learned it was being cancelled. Other friends and family members kept telling me they would never cancel a show like that. Today it goes without saying that people, more so now, would appreciate television shows like moral court.

To Whom it May Concern, you've got some nerve. You would let someone as RUDE as Judge Judy continue to insult people and speak down to them as if they were nothing, but, you would take off someone as sweet, kind, fatherly, and wise as Judge Elder, and cancel his show, go figure. As you may know, there are a lot of Judge shows on these days, and that's fine, I happen to enjoy them, but, Judges such as Judge Jerry, Judge Curtis, and Judge Judy, are far less interesting. As least Judge Elder made you feel as if he was a Human Being, like the rest of us. The next thing I know, you'll be taking off Judge Hatchett, another very humanistic person. To think, you would let someone like Howard Stern continue to "Grace" our airwaves.....Shame on you.....

Like others who have posted here, I REGRET the decision to CANCEL ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TODAY'S TELEVISION TALK SHOWS...

Does anyone think that a signed petition to the studios would bring back this remarkably understanding show?

HOW RUDE!!!

I was REALLY REALLY hoping it was in recess. I made a point to watch it everyday and had been watching it since it first started. I mean, my day was not complete unless I had my fix in the morning. I think the people who cancelled it made the biggest mistake of their lives cause if it was just on in the evening, I really think it would have made it. I agree with Donna who said someone as RUDE as Judge Judy is still on, and someone as idiotic and stupid as the moron judge they have now on People's Court is just not FAIR. Judge Elder and Hatchett are the only great ones on TV, and then they cancell the absolute best one. They need to get rid of that idiot on People's Court and Joe Brown, is he slow or what, and making that girl cry cause she was heavy, that was sad but anyway..........

I am really disappointed in that decision, how could we bring it back? Can we? A petition or something, I miss it :(

And whoever didn't understand that the winner got paid by the show is a complete freakin freak of nature with no brain. It's not like the chick didn't explain it in every episode.

I want Russel Brown back on tv. Finally a good looking guy is on television, and the show gets cancelled. I love Russel Brown, But also 'Moral Court' was a very good show. Boo Hoo. I don't understand how all the crappy court shows stay on, and this different kind of court show gets the ax.

I e-mailed Larry Elder when I found out the show was being cancelled and asked what could be done. He suggested I contact my local affilliate and tell them what I want. So I suggest that anyone out there who wants Moral Court back on the airwaves to contact your local tv station and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
