Hi Nikki,

Sorry to hear about your daughter. I have asthma and it is very scarry to deal with sometimes. I developed asthma when I was in my early teens because of the house we lived in (very damp) and my dad's smoking.

It is caused by allergies and one of those allergies is mold.

We moved and my asthma disappeared. Recently I moved into my mother in laws house. She has that disease where she can't throw away anything. My daughters room is full of old musty smelling books, and so is mine. She developed servere headaches that became unbearable, about a year after we moved in here, and I developed asthma again.

Our allergy doctor found that both or our problems are caused by the mold in our home. She has to have four shots a week, and I have to keep a breathing inhaler with me where ever I go.
