With respect to Christmas coming soon, I keep thinking of all the family and friends of the victims of the Sept. 11th tragedy and how hard Christmas will be for them this year. My heart goes out to them. I hope they're able to find peace in their hearts.

I totally agree with you Kiwi, christmas has a special meaning this year. My family has decided to focus on each other rather than buying gifts. Material possesions really seem so trivial this year. But don't worry, I am still doing my part to boost the economy. I have been doing plenty of shopping on my own-just bought a new computer and Im trying to buy a new house!!

KellyFan, I just recently bought a new computer too. Before that, I just got to use the one I have at work. It's nice to be able to get on the internet whenever you want, not just at coffeebreaks and lunchtime. I'm looking to buy a house within the next year or so. I've been putting it off the last couple years because it seems like such a hassle, but I'm getting tired of renting. Anyways, happy househunting!! :)
