OT/ Digital Cameras

I'm looking to buy my mom a nice digital camera for her birthday/Mother's Day. I want it to have USB port, Video Output, batteries other than AA (something like lithium ion or something rechargeable), zoom, and preferably optical and LCD Viewfinder. I'd like to spend anything under $300. I'm getting a headache from looking up all these different kinds. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good camera?

Also MPSuperstore. com And Tristatecamera. com These are some good sites to look on line.

The Fuji cameras are really good. I think they have some under $300, but, I bought the Fuji Finepix 4***, and it is really good. I think it is $400, though. At MP super store, it is $388.

I use a Nikon CoolPix ***....I'd recommend any camera in the Nikon CoolPix series.

Had a blast with the digital on a recent vacation....can delete the duds as I go, and the kids are much more cooperative when they can see themselves in the picture on the screen on the back of the camera....
