Consuelos taking on more roles
While Regis Philbin's co-host, Kelly Ripa, plans to work less on All
My Children, her hubby and castmate, Mark Consuelos, is working more.
Consuelos plays a World War II Army Ranger in The Great Raid, now
filming in Australia, and he'll have more work this fall in China.
Raid is being directed by John Dahl (1998's Rounders, with Matt Damon
and Edward Norton). Miramax and Lawrence Bender are among the
producers of Raid, about the rescue of prisoners of war from a
Japanese camp in the Philippines. Ripa is on vacation next week and
plans to take their two kids to visit Dad Down Under.
