"American Idol" executive producer Simon Fuller and his U.K.-based 19 Group is set to do a new reality series for ABC that will seek out an all-American supergirl over 13 episodes. The as-yet-untitled series for next year will see 10 female contestants battling it out in athletic, dancing, singing, beauty and personality contests. Big-name celebrities from the worlds of sports, entertainment and fashion will act as individual coaches for the contestants. Fuller's 19 Group has begun talking to celebrity sports stars and entertainment personalities to come aboard the project, while CAA, which represents Fuller, is talking with major advertisers to create an integrated advertiser plan similar to the one pioneered by CAA for Fox's "American Idol" with Coca-Cola. In addition, Fuller is working with CAA to launch a global version of the "Idol" franchise that will see the winners from each country competing in a massive worldwide simulcast.
