Too bad that she was sick and missed the party.

Good show today - Regis was in top form. Glad he was, because Kelly looked like she just wanted to go home and crawl into bed.

Can't imagine what it must be like to feel like poop and have to do a live show with millions of viewers...

Yikes!

I agree with you Jinh,I could tell as soon as they came out that she did not feel good at all.Looked like her back was hurting her also.I;m sure she will be grateful for there Christmas vacation. Here;s hoping Kelly is feeling better soon.

kelly deserves some serious props (kudos) for what she does everyday. i know first-hand that it is hard to be pregnant and have two little ones and work also. i am happy she is getting three months off (i'm sure the "kelly haters" will love it too)...

What exactly does Kelly do everyday? She works an hour in the morning and then is off the rest of the day...well off from her Live! job. What the heck is so hard about that schedule? lol

Although I'm not a Kelly hater, I am looking forward to being "Kelly Free in 2003." (if only for 3 months) lol

I am sure that there is a bit more to the job than the 1 hour that we see.I thought that she has said before that she gets to the studio at 6:30 am to get ready.I am sure there are meetings also, and then photo sessions and promo ads that Regis and Kelly both talk about,as well as prep time for each interview(I am sure there is "homework" to be done on each guest). She plays it down, but there is a lot more to it than that 1 hour.

An hour show usually requires 6-8 hrs. prep by ALL participants. (There's always gotta be a visit by the Grinch.) Give credit where credit is due. I worked full time up until 3 weeks of giving birth each time. I was exhausted, but keeping busy helps sometimes. She's doing a great job, and you'd have to be young...I can't imagine going through any of that again. I'm enjoying my old age where all I have to do is comment on this ridiculous stuff. Merry Christmas to all.

OY-vey! Looking forward to being Regis free for 3 months in 2003. It'll give my VCR a much needed rest and an extra hour minus commericals in my day.

There's no way in a million years Regis and or Kelly or KLG for that instance prep 6-8 hours for each show. Maybe Gelman. (though he does the same stuff over and over again. Just look at his NON original Christmas show he's done many times before) I understand what KLG meant when she said she was tired of doing the same thing over and over again.

Kelly has said many times that she must get to the studio very early for all of the make-up and hair "stuff" that must be done--but it's definitely a part-time job at the most--

please, don't compare Kelly to a "normal" working woman who's pregnant with her third child--and doesn't have a cushy job, nannies, housekeepers, etc.-- those are the women who deserve the "kudos"--

Hasn't Kelly said many times that as soon as Mark's film career takes off she's going to retire????????

6 - 8 hrs. prep time? Are you kidding? lol I'm with you bklgfan, neither one spends that much time preparing for the show, except Gelman. Regis, no doubt, does spend more time than Kelly but not 6 - 8 hrs.

L,
Besides her nannies & assistants, don't forget her in-laws that are always over. Let's face it, she has it great--no need to feel sorry for Ms. Ripa. lol

Vlanj why don;t you and the other Kelly haters JUST SHUP UP!!!!! And change the channel.I;m sure they work more than 1 hour a day. There is promos, and meetings and other stuff to do I;m sure.If you don;t like the show then turn it off.Same goes for the ones who can;t stand Regis,I enjoy him but if you don;t then change the channel.

I enjoy Regis as long as I don't read some people's interpretation of his "zingers" about Kelly. Most of the time when I have actually seen what "they" are referring to, I don't see it as a dig at all towards Kelly, just as playful bantering with each other which is what makes Live! fun to watch. So when I'm not in the mood to read what Regis supposedly is making fun of Kelly about, then I just don't read those comments by said people. And yes, I DO think of you "girls" as people, just not very nice people most of the time.

What does this"please, don't compare Kelly to a "normal" working woman who's pregnant with her third child--and doesn't have a cushy job, nannies, housekeepers, etc.-- those are the women who deserve the "kudos"--
"
have to do with this..
"She works an hour in the morning and then is off the rest of the day...well off from her Live! job. What the heck is so hard about that schedule? lol"
Those are two seperate issues and I think that the last few posts were referring to Kellys 1 hr days not the help she has.
We do all have common sense and know that the more money you have the easier you have it in that way. There are also"normal"working women that have nannies and housekeepers though.I have quite a few friends that do,so what. The only difference is that I am sure Kelly pays hers more. But that wasn't the issue,I don't think.I am pretty sure that it was that 1 hr a day thing. That is what my post was in reference to anyway.

my comment had nothing to do with the 1-hour-a day comment--I was referring to this one:

kelly deserves some serious props (kudos) for what she does everyday. i know first-hand that it is hard to be pregnant and have two little ones and work also. i am happy she is getting three months off (i'm sure the "kelly haters" will love it too)...

I think as far as help goes, Kelly does have it easier than a lot of people out there- she's said so herself. However, it still sucks to go to work when you don't feel well- for ANYONE. Now imagine, people critique everything you say or do when you DO feel well and now they're going to do the same thing when you feel like crap. Yes, her job has many many perks to it, but she does put in more than an hour a day. Some days, it may only be 3 or 4 (she gets there around 6:30/7:00 she said), but other days, it's gotta be near a full day (8 hours) with photo sessions, interviews, promos, etc. Don't think we've ever heard Kelly complain- in fact, she's said she has it easier than most. So why the big discussion over this?!
