I'm watching EXTRA and they are doing a bit on KL's appearance tonight on Glick. Looks wild! The haters are going to have a field day. I think it looks hilarious.

What do you mean that she was fabulous? Are you saying she didn't disappoint or that she was her usual inane, self-absorbed and finger down the throat self.

Well, I guess I mean it both ways. She was playing a parody of herself, which she is very good at. She also was a good sport. However, maybe her whole appearance was in questionable taste? I mean, the idea of her having a threesome with Jiminy Glick and Dixie Glick is too awful to even think about. And if this happened more than 22 years ago, did they even HAVE videotapes back then? I realize it's supposed to be a joke, but I'm not sure how much this is going to help her career. Nevertheless, the spot was cute, and I wish it had been longer.

The Glick appearance was the complete bit of the segment that was shown at THE DAYTIME EMMYS when Kathie Lee hosted. As for availability of Videotape 22yrs ago, VHS was not commercially availabe I don't think. A homemade tape could have been shot on 1/2 reel to reel video, or U-matic 3/4 inch tape and possibly on a new format that was hitting the home market called Betamax. The VHS tape could also have been a film transfer from a variety of guage films for home use ranging from 8mm, Super 8, Super 8 sound, 16mm silent or sound or Super 16. All in all I'm sure Kathie Lee's upskirt shots are being added to yahoo club sites as we speak!
and in case you missed it, Glick repeats tonight Friday morning at 12:30am and on Saturday twice at 10am & 5pm all eastern times on Comedy Central.
So set your video machines whatever format you use these days, personally I'm taping it on a DV cam, reat quality resolution!

I can't wait to get to my videotape of last night's Glick appearance. I'm like Kathie Lee, I find Jiminy strangely sexy. I love it when he sweats through the fat suit. Glad you two can appreciate KL's tongue-in-cheek ways.

Who's on Glick (figuratively, not literally) next week? Anyone know?

I never miss Jiminy Glick (thanks to Tivo). Martin Short does a good job dressing as different characters and I think he deserves more credit than he gets.
As for KL, I was embarrassed for her family...laying on top of Glick and playing around doesn't leave a good impression.I wonder why she keeps acting like she is this sexual goddess? I guess she still doesn't feel satisfied in that department....Anyway, I hope she has a nice birthday w/ Frankie.
