I can't believe they chose this particular show to re-run. Sure.. I wanna be reminded that the man who stand the most in opposition of healthy emotional married life.. i.e. Mayor Guliami is the man who married us.

I"m sorry, but I think I would have passed on re-running that show, because of the scandal factor. It did seem kind of ironic his comments in hindsight. You know.. not any "love honor, cherish, be honest". He was all "Marriage is a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT (implying.. run man, run while you still can)... and Marriage is ONLY A LEGAL ARRANGEMENT.. whereas both people feel they would be happier and more joyful together, than apart.

Yikes, no wonder his marriage didn't work out. He thinks of his wife as chattel. I mean.. if you couldn't tell that by the way he treated her. I don't know.. I said this on my own board, but I have noticed, that men when they have a first affair are so reluctant to bring it out in the open, they want to keep it secret. Its only the guys who get sick of keeping secrets for years and years who flaunt their relationships with their mistresses like that.

I"m sorry, but I have to say thumbs down to Gelman for chosing to put that particular show on the telly today.

I agree about the Guliani part but at least we didn't have to put up with Kathie me screeching ( oh, she calls it singing) and her stupid "yea baby" during the toast. These are the things I wouldn't want to remember on "the big day".

I definitely focused in on his little prevows speech. It was something that is still in people's minds and too recent to rerun. Hey, going along the same vein, did you catch the Saturday Night Live rerun this past week? The guest host was Conan O'Brien, and there was a skit set outside a Boston Package store with some local underage nitwits trying to buy liquor. Who does a walk-on playing a local yokel drunk partyboy??..........Ben Afleck. Talk about poor timing! Maria...thanks for the invite to your club at yahoo, but I cannot find it. Lost...help!!!

I think the reason for the different wording in the marriage today was because he is not a minister, but a civil servant. I think it is called a Civil Ceremony not a Religious Ceremony. I am not absolutely sure about that but I seem to remember hearing that. It was somewhere in the cobwebs of my mind. The club that you want Scoops, is" www.Livewithregisandkellyclub@Yahoo.com It is really a friendly, nice club. Enjoy!

Scoops!

We ahve quite the grapevine going here. Would you believe that someone in my club, alerted me to the fact that someone on this board asked me about the address to my club and asked for it to be posted again? We have so many people coming in and leaving messages there, if they cannot find people elsewhere..

Scoops.. NO! I didn't catch SNL.. I have a funny habit of watching them all at once, when they replay them on the comedy channel. I am a member of the site that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have.. the Project Greenlight site.. and yes.. I agree.. it doesn seem like bad timing. I don't think Ben Affleck's problem was all that bad. I think he is doing what they call "nipping it in the bud". YOu know.. getting counseling before it becomes a really humongous problem that he cannot overcome for years. I think he got scared because he saw himself turning into his father. Thats' just the energy I get from him right now, but I'm not God so who knows.

Kelly Ripa looked absolutely beautiful in the long black evening gown plus her hair done up nice for the wedding done on the show today.
