Just checking over the main list, and saw the Trading Spaces board. I LOVE that show. Doesn't look like the board is seeing much action, but what is there is interesting....and no fighting yet. Ahhh, virgin board.

I have seen it on occasion - LOL the last one I saw, one couple was devistated... :-(

I was surprised... I loved it - but then that is what makes the world, etc...

MG, Hi! It is an interior decorating show on the Learning Channel...I think.( I am all flustered now that I messed up Linc from Mod Squad..LOL) They have two teams which redecorate a room in one another's homes.with the help of an interior decorator. They have a budget of $1000.00, and 48 hours in which to create the project. Both teams share a carpenter, and are not allowed to return to their homes until time is up. Then they are brought in blindfolded to see the sometimes wonderful, sometimes horrific results!
All of the interior decorators are regulars on the show, so you get to know them and their styles.

Well Gals, I regret to say that I did just find an argument over there...however, it was about paislies, toiles, and argyles. so much more civilized don't you think? LOL

Think it depends on your "feelings" about paisleys, toules and argyles...

PK liking paisley ties, frilly toule skirts and argyle socks... But then I don't have to wear them... or design a room using them...

Toule - lightweight netting under and over "fancy" skirts of the 50s...

Toile - upholstery fabric??
