It was an honest mistake.Rosie loves Susan,I feel bad for both Susan and Rosie because Rosie takes so much to heart and I know she had to feel awful.

So how was Rosie's show today? It doesn't come on here until 4. (Forgive me for not posting this on her site, but it gives me the creeps to go there!) I am so sad this week. Although I think her show has gone downhill this year, I will miss her. She was a great host with a big heart. I think she succeeded in doing what she set out to do ~ create a Merv Griffin-type show that makes people feel good.

I'm glad she cleared up the Susan Lucci confusion. I knew she would!!

MG, I didn't post this as an insult to Rosie, she admitted she felt bad and apoligized a couple times. I posted this to others on the board who felt Kelly fabricated the story and just blamed Rosie for no reason.

I have not yet seen Rosie today either, but I am also so sad she is leaving her show! I really enjoyed her show and felt she did so much for charities. Some people didn't like how political she bacame, but I admire her for having the courage to say what she believes. Did anyone see her show yesterday? It was fun remembering all those old shows like the first time Tom Cruise was on. I'm sure she felt so bad about what happened with Susan Lucci. I know she is one of Susan's biggest fans!

I sure do wish people could post and admit when they're wrong. Those that yelled at Kelly because she said Rosie told her to go. Now, Rosie admits it and no word from certain people saying, "oops. my bad. kelly was right."

It amazing how the first poster totally forgot the whole conversation but just wanted to say that Rosie admitted it.
Rosie said that the ENTIRE LEFT STAGE were there listening to the announcement and heard Stephanie (grumbling) the last name and THEY ALL thought that Lucci won so Rosie was standing behind the curtain and Rosie said that EVERYONE back stage was saying "oh my gawd, its Susan Lucci" "Rosie, its Susan Lucci". So Rosie said Oh my god... and said the camera director thought so too that it was Susan Lucci. So she went to Susan to say "you won...Go Go GO". So it was partially her fault but all those in stage left too.
So glad that Rosie cleared that. I still wouldnt believe anything Kelly says.

MS, What is so amazing? That is EXACTLY what Rosie said. She said SHE told Susan Lucci to GO GO GO. WHAT PART DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? Besides, Kelly NEVER said it was Rosies FAULT, all Kelly said was that Rosie told Susan to GO GO GO. And that is what Rosie said today on her show, that is what I posted, and that is the truth. Too bad you can't admit when you're wrong. As for believing anything Kelly says, SHE TOLD THE TRUTH.

While I never doubted that Kelly was telling the truth about Rosie, I can see where some of these people might not think it was appropriate to mention Rosie as being the reason Susan Lucci walked out on stage. I know it isn't really a big deal, but I'm sure it was embarrassing for both Rosie and Susan. So, maybe it wasn't Kelly's place to say the reason Susan Lucci walked onstage to accept the award was because Rosie had told her she won. Especially before Rosie even got a chance to clear it up on her show. Who knows. I like both Kelly and Rosie, so I don't really see any fault with either of them in this situation, but I can see both sides. I'm sure it isn't as big of deal to Rosie and Kelly as it is to us!

You crack me up! You are so self righteous! All Kelly did was explain what happened to Susan Lucci, and she said Rosie told Susan to GO GO GO. She did not BLAME Rosie, she did not say it was Rosies FAULT, she simply explained what happened and who was involved. There was NO big controversy (except in SOME posters minds)., and nobody had to EXPLAIN anything, why would you say let Rosie explain before anyone else? Shaking my head..............

Rosie was part of a group of people, a large group of people on the left side of the stage. When the actor screamed out Susan.......I could not tell the last name he screamed (and he was screaming) the camera showed us Susan Lucci.
Rosie does not operate the camera, or direct the cameraman. As Rosie said, the whole group was telling Susan she had won, but since Rosie's *"big-ass mouth" is the loudest it was her "YOU WON, GO GO GO" that was picked up on. Rosie apologized more than once, but she also added, I guess it is my fault along with all the others.

By the way, last year when KLG hosted the emmy's there were ll million viewers.
I did not know if that rating was good, bad or someplace in between. This year there were less than 7 million, so guess a few people watched to see KLG.

I'm willing to bet Rosie doesn't give a hoot if Kelly told the truth on national TV. So Rosie made a mistake...no big deal. So Kelly explained to Regis what REALLY happened, and by doing so, mentioned Rosie's name... no big deal! It's not like she is accusing Rosie of something more than mistaking Susan Flanery for Susan Lucci, like everyone else did.
