View Full Version : asking for password

To All of you fellow board members: I really missed the board too and I admit I was stupid enough to try various passwords to see if I could get into the web site. I just I might warn other members about something I was stupid enough to do and maybe you did to. IF YOU SIGNED INTO THAT PASSWORD THING THAT WAS COMING UP THEY MIGHT HAVE STORED YOUR PASSWORD AND YOU BETTER CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. I typed in my e-mail address and password one time for the heck of it so if you typed in something like xxxx@aol.com and your password, the Koreans might have it and might be hacking into your website some day.

Dont feel bad, velvet, I did the same thing, and also then changed my password. I didn't enter my email address, so thats a good thing.
Gotta go, I cant find my dog.

I too made that mistake about entering my username and password so I will probably have to change it. Anyway I also wanted to let you know that it was me that just posted as "Glad your back Trevor" so that you wouldn't worry if it was the hackers LOL. Anyway, I'll be changing my Arlene name since they might have it now.

Hi Everyone; Talk about going thru withdrawls. I was in a panic
when user name and password came up. I thought I was being
monitored by the manager and they set it up that I couldn't go
into this web site anymore. Thanks to TVBarn.com I finally found
out what happened. Missed you all.
Finally snowing in MA, anywhere else????

I had run into that username and password thingie a couple of months ago when Trevor was having technical problems with the boards, so I didn't bother to enter any info this time either.
It's funny how so many perfectly nice people (which is everybody on the R&K board, of course ; ) ) felt the guilts and thought they were being banned. Trevor isn't that perverse (yet) <wink>.
Lola--With all this talk of Korean eating habits, I'm concerned about your dog. Were you serious? If so, have you found him? (I hope)

Ha I was only kidding Liz, at least I think I was.
Ya never know with all these koreans in Pa.

Ok Lola, you can say it...."Gotcha!"
Hey, if those guys can destroy a site like this, they can surely bring PA to it's knees...Then again, why would they want to??

Do you guys think we are in any danger if we put our info in that box that popped up? Somehow I don't think so. I think that was just something putup by the hackers. What do you guys think?

I hope there is no danger or I'm totally screwed.
I tried every day to get into the web site and had others
try too.
Hi Arlene "whats your name"... ;0))
No... Trevor mentioned elsewhere that we were in no danger of having anyone access our computers or get our private information. Now had you hit enter and were able to get in the site, you may have had a problem... (Or some Korean in your background - "not that that's a bad thing".. LOL)
PK not wanting her computer hacked..

Now that we know that this can happen by hackers. Is there anyone
who post messages on a different sites so we can find each
other somehow? I know this is the only site I post on. But
maybe there are others who go on other sites..
LOL Lola...
Think if I bring BigDog along I would get a better table? One closer to the kitchen I'll bet.. Perhaps if he saw what went in and came out, he would begin behaving better!
;0))

I still haven't figured out exactly what Trevor means up there.
Korean Eating Dog Hackers?
Are the Dogs Hackers eating the Koreans here or what? Check it out, again, folks. LOL
As a side note. Many of the Chinese Restaurants in this country are being run by people of Korean decent. Might want to keep that in mind the next time you get a hankering for some Moo Goo Gui Pan. And for heaven's sake bypass the meat on a stick.
LOL Vi...
As usual, I see what I expect to see - selective dyslexia, I think...
On second thought, I will reconsider taking BigDog to the Korean restaurant... They might be the ones in danger, and I'm gonna make sure he does not have access to my mouse..
;0))

You better leave Bigdog at home. God only knows what would happen to him, or them,<sly grin>
Viollett-I guess I should put down this plate of dog lo mein I just started to eat. Come to think of it, I did hear a barkk when I opened the container.
