Yoo-hoo, calling RnKnS.....what did you think of Kelly's "story" about her sleeping from 7pm to 7am straight....pretty believable, right? Then comes the rest of the story........the position of how she slept for 12 hrs. straight. Now, is that real or another embellished story?

Thought host chat was a grind today----almost felt sorry for Kelly and her cohost. Especially their chatting about the "colors"----that went over like a lead balloon! lol

Wow, Regis on yet ANOTHER vacation. No wonder why he seemed in a good mood--he knew he was going on vacation! lol

Who co hosted? Steve Harris again??
I didn't like him the last time.

Hey Ladies! Sorry, Vla, missed host chat. My finger hit the OFF button as soon as Kelly and Steve started discussing the weather (first thing). Did Kelly mention where Regis went? If not, I thought we could have a guessing contest. I'll say "cruise"...maybe Mediterranean? The Philbins do love their cruises. Let me know what everyone else thinks (unless of course Kelly already told)...

Any word on co-hosts for the next four days? I'll start chanting for my choice....Jay Mohr, Jay Mohr, Jay Mohr...

Hey V-she most definitley did not sleep like that for 12 hours. I'd bet my house on it. The story started just fine, but as usual, took a dramatic turn.

Regis on vacation again, boy he sure has the life. I'm sure he'll have something to complain about when he returns. Hope he doesn't run into Kathie Lee on one of those cruise ships. That could really wreck a vacation.

Maybe mark will be on this week.

Yes, think they should forget about Steve Harris... Must need to plug the Practice a lot??

THOMAS GIBSON ("Dharma & Greg") Tomorrow...

From the line-ups listed on the Live site, I'm guessing JOAN RIVERS, Wed., PAT SAJAK, Thurs., and ALAN THICKE, on Friday...

Perhaps time to get some stuff done around here...

OK, who do I think I'm kidding, I'm never gonna get stuff done around here..

;0))

PK will be watching as usual...

Didn't see the show again today--Regis is on another vacation? Bummer. I never like Kelly and the guest co-hosts--I never liked KL with her guest co-hosts, either. I'm not surprised Mark won't be co-hosting after his last debacle --lol

Vlanj, I don't believe the story--that's one of Kelly's problems--she has a great way of telling a story, and can be funny, but she ruins it with the exxagerations (sp) and unbelievability--

Haven't watched the show yet, but just the fact of her sleeping from 7:00-7:00 isn't shocking at all. I've done it before- many times. When you're exhausted, you're exhausted. And when I was sick the other week, I slept from 11:00 a.m - 7:30 a.m - almost 21 hours (waking just 3 times to go to the bathroom!)

OK. Now I'm curious...what was the rest of her sleeping story that made it unbelievable?

A little exaggeration (if that's what she did)doesn't bother me; everyone does it to make a story better sometimes.

Oh my goodness, PK, that guest co-host lineup is startlingly mediocre at best! I see absolutely NO reason to tune in this week....thanks for the notice.

Lola, since Regis and Kathie Lee are friends, I doubt running into her on a cruise ship would wreck his vacation. I'll bet Regis and Joy and the Glazers are cruising off the tip of Italy right now! One thing's for sure...he's not skiing in Aspen! And if he is, he'll be foaming at the mouth when he returns, with some hard-luck stories of too-slow ski lifts and too-expensive everything...

Has Kelly mentioned if a designer has come through yet with some rhinestone-studded cargo pants for her Emmy night?

<Lola>

Ha I guess you're right. I guess I was thinking of me meeting Kathie Lee on a cruise ship. Oh, the insanity.

Studded cargo pants, hmmmm, I may just have a pair of those in my closet for Kelly.

Steph--I posted that it IS believable that a person can sleep for 12 hrs. straight----but NOT in the position she described--Unless that person was under the influence of something. lol

Regis is prob on a cruise--playing tennis, working out, relaxing with Joy, eating a good plate of spaghetti & meatballs...Have fun Reege, 6 more days! lol

I sure hope the rest of the week isn't cohosted by game show hosts. I hate game shows. How about George Hamilton, any one but Howie.

Im for George Hamilton myself.

OH PLEASE NOT HOWIE! if he hosts it will be the first time I will not watch since Kelly has been on. I'm rooting for Jay Mohr, or someone from AMC.

<Nicole>

Mark or Jay Mohr! Carol Burnett! Or someone from AMC as co-host!

<stephanievt97>

Vlanj- I hadn't seen the show yet when I posted before. That definitely would not be a comfortable position! (for however long she slept in it- I'm thinking just 10 minutes in that position would suck!)

<vlanj>
03-19-2002, 02:18 PM
Steph, I know! Why does she have to make up such stories? lol

I didn't want to tell you yesterday because you did say you were going to watch it---don't want you to think I was ignoring you.

<stephanievt97>
03-19-2002, 03:15 PM
Vlanj- I understand. I was just confused yesterday when you were talking about the position. Now I get it.

It doesn't bother me if she exaggerates some. I have woken up in the morning in the exact same position with the covers not moved a bit- but that was lying in bed. I'm sure she was only in that position part of the night. Either way, I thought it was pretty funny!

I guess I was the only one who liked Steve Harris I thought he and kelly are funny together. He seemed like a nice guy and the color talk thing didn't go over that badly.
