don't faint--but I loved today's host chat! Don't miss it! Let me know what you think--I'm off, probably until tomorrow morning.

Lisa, Good morning to you in Maine...and to all the rest of you all over!

So glad you loved host chat! Your post is very telling, even for me, an hour before the show comes on....Let me guess....Regis has a great story? I'm hoping.

V, you will accuse me of going soft (again!) but I really don't mind when Kelly uses "big daddy" just in conversation the way she's been doing, just guess I didn't like that silly puppy dog voice. I think it's cute when she answers him with "yes big daddy" in her normal voice.

Monica and all BB fans....I didn't watch it but are you happy with the outcome? Hope so....when will the next one start? There's always Survivor Thailand tonight. It was #1 last week (Survivor).....Regis and Kelly Prime Time ended up #48 but I think that was respectable for their time slot.

Talk soon.

S

This sucks that the day I did not tape it, it is a great show! oh well....

Hi Rk, hard to say if I am happy with the outcome. One the one hand we have Dani who really played the game, had an alliance with someone that no one in the house knew about until after they left. Dani played the game great but she was very rude behind people's backs, she claimed she is a Christian but did not act like one. Then we have Lisa who really only got it by luck alone but is extremely nice, not a mean bone in her body but did not do anything to get where she is at. It is nice to see someone who is sweet, and nice win the game.

I think BB4 starts in Jan but not positive.

Yes Survivor is on tonight, it was great last week!! I wonder how they will do against friends tonight and then the season premiere of ER is also tonight

Hi guys.

Monica, Sorry but I can't help you out with the show. I saw a little bit of host chat and that was it. (they both had pretty good stories today) Kelly's hair looked pretty and Regis seemed like he was in a great mood, from what I caught. He is still a mess with that sling. lol If RnKnS doesn't give you a brief description of host chat, I will, but it'll have to be later on. I'm heading back out.

RnKnS, you're right with the big daddy routine. It's still somewhat annoying to me, but not as bad as when she first started. Ugh, wasn't that awful? lol

Missed Survivor last week, so I have to catch up tonight. (Can't wait to see the crybaby teacher.) lol

Have a great day.

Hey V you watch Survivor? If you go to CBS.com they give excellent recaps! Pastor John was voted out, I am glad. There is no way I would want him to be my pastor! Let me give you a quick recap of last week's show:

The two oldest members Jan and Jake picked their own teams, Jan seemed to pick members closer to her own age whereas Jake picked the younger, stronger, arrogant members!

Jan's tribe went to look for water, Pastor John wanted to do it alone, then when the rest of the team swam to where John was at, he did not come get them in the canoe, then he played a stupid practical joke. Overall except for one person, the rest of the team did not like him and all but Helen voted him out.

Wait till you see Robb, what an annoying person!

Tonya was sick alot last week, but she will probably be around for awhile. She might even make the jury ( I belong to a few Survivor clubs and spoiler sites). Her dad died in a car crash towards the end of filming and CBS made arrangements for her to get home as soon as possible, so she must have made the jury.

Oh gosh Monica, that is terrible news about one of the Survivors. I feel bad for her, will have to check out the show tonight to see which one Tonya is. I refuse, refuse, REFUSE to get involved with it again. We'll see how long that lasts!

Yes, Lisa, host chat was very entertaining! Not as funny to me as the Percocet Chronicles earlier this week, but still good. I loved that they both had a good story. I'm so proud of Kelly, giving her friend a party and getting out with the "beautiful people" <gag>.....wond er if Dan Rather will mention her on the news tonight!! LOL! Maybe just a knowing wink at the end. Funny, I don't picture Dan being tall.

Yes, V, I remember the old days of her scratching his back and "who's my big daddy?" stuff....so glad that's gone. That was right up there on the Disgusting Scale, tied with watching Kathie Lee pluck a stray ear hair.

Wonder how KL's doing at the Regency...is that the name of the hotel where the cabaret is? I guess it's called Feinstein's. Hope she's packing them in. Bet she's loving that kind of intimate setting.

Hi Rk, yes it is sad about Tonya's father, there was an article from her home town in TN, seems as if he had a heartattack while driving, while she was in Thailand. We ( survivor fanatics lol) think that she was at least on the jury ir close to being on the jury since he passed away right towards the end and CBS and Mark Burnett said they made special arrangements for her to get home. But it is hard to know for sure...it is weird watching her knowing all of this, must be really hard for her and her family

Hi girls! Don't they always keep all the Survivors there until the end of the contest?...even those that were voted out early?
Hi Lisa, and V, so, you gals are liking the hostchat? It really has been good. Hope it continues.

Hi Scoops, yes they always keep them there, they call it loser lodge LOL- the thing with this is that Mark Burnett implied in an interview ( I will try to find it for you) that she was in the game when her dad died so all the spoiler sites yesterday did not have her picked as the one leaving. I think MB said it in such a way that get more publicity for this ( ratings, it is competing against friends). She was not in the game, nor was she part of the jury when her dad was in the car accident. I am just very happy that it will not be shown on tv, that I think would have been too hard for her and her family.

Thanks Monica...are you starting to get the feeling that you spend a lot of time explaining things to me lately? lol I appreciate it.

<Monica>

No I do not get that feeling at all Scoops- I thought you might be thinking that I am way into reality tv ( I belong to Survivor Clubs, Survivor picke games, survivor spoiler sites ect...)

You know that the pickem game that we are in, your one of the very very few that got any points last night, way to go!!!!

RnKnS, Monica & Scoops:

My husband and I are Survivor fanatics. Sorry to hear about Tonya's father. We were admiring her last night; very pretty girl. We can't wait to see next week's show. Ghandia accuses the African-American guy, can't remember his name, of getting sexual and it looks like things get pretty hairy out there. Should be exciting!

<Monica>
09-27-2002, 01:48 PM
Hi Cassandra, the scoops are about Ghandia putting the moves on Ted, did you see the previews where she has her hand on his thigh but he is NOT touching her. Some of us are thinking that she knows that she is the next to be ousted so she causes some drama LOL

They are both married, and he told her last night that he was not interested in the previews. We also know from the voting last night that she is not part of the alliance- Ted, Brian, Clay and Jan voted for Tonya to leave, Ghandia voted for Helen, I think they will bring Helen into the fold and get rid of Ghandia.

Do you belong to any Survivor clubs/pickem games?

<Cassandra>
09-27-2002, 02:02 PM
Monica:

No, I don't belong to any Survivor clubs of any type. The preview I saw last night showed a very upset Tonya shouting out that Ted was trying to get sexual and he was saying that he wasn't even attracted to her. I didn't see her hand on his thigh, but they were standing up. There's a lot of tension in that tribe right now because they haven't won any of the competitions though they have come close. We also think that the alliance will bring Helen in and vote Tonya out, but it never quite works out like you think it will.

<Monica>
09-27-2002, 02:06 PM
Hey Cassandra, you must mean Ghandia? Tonya was voted out last night- I think there is more tension in the other tribe especially with Jed and Stephanie. I am not sure why those two are so lazy, especially Stephanie- she is a firefighter she must understand the concept of teamwork. I think she will be voted out next week.

<Cassandra>
09-27-2002, 02:47 PM
Monica:

Yes,I did mean Ghandia. I don't know why but I keep getting those two names confused. We don't get really good with the names until after the third or fourth episode, LOL. Jed is the dental student, right? He is the epitome of lazy. I wouldn't have let him in the hut during the torrential rain because he didn't lift a finger to help build it.

<Monica>
09-27-2002, 03:08 PM
Yes Jed is the dental student, the first week I thought he made sense about looking for food. Not everyone should be doing the same thing but he made those comments last night about this being the fourth day and still no place to sleep. Well maybe it would not have taken so long if he and Stephanie helped LOL. I think Stephanie is worse because she is a firefighter so she knows what it is like to be a team member and she was so stubborn to sleep in the rain,knowing she is sick but just to do it. Lets get sick so we cant do well in the challenges LOL
