Surprise by Design [Archive]

Have any of you watched this show? It is on the Discovery Channel from noon to 2 (EST) each day, which is 2 episodes back-to-back. I have been watching for about a week, whenever I am feeding a baby, and have grown to love it!! Today, they were in NY doing the back yard of a Fire Station that had lost around 11 members in the WTC attack. It was an emotional show (they aren't all), but was really good!! Last week one day, Robert (one of the hosts) went back and did a room for his neighbor from when he was growing up. It was really neat.

Just thought I'd check...

Hey Skeeter! I haven't even heard of that show, so I will definitely have to watch for it. Sounds neat...and my kind of show. I am only usually here and around a TV on Mon. and Fri., so I will catch it Fri. Is it kind of like While you Were Out?

It is raining here...ugh. My plans were to be out all day. That figures huh?

I can just count on some things, Ms. Piggie!!! I just knew that would be you that answered me!!!

It is sort of like WYWO, only it is only one day (8hours) and they invite friends in. Not as much "building", as much as just using what they have. I love it!! (Don't get me wrong, I still love WYWO, too!!)

I am STILL here. I am trying to get directions to some places I am needing to go to. Mapquest is NOT helping me much!

Anyway, the concept of the show really sounds great. Sometimes you don't necessarily need someone coming through a room with a paint brush...just an eye for furniture placement can help tremendously! :)

I love my ShMop. More importantly, Portia loves it.

Loved your "oral exam" joke also. I have a sheet that has a bunch of those funny lines said in a court room.
