So, what'd you think of yesterdays Sopranos? Can you believe what happened to Karen? Very, very unpredictable. A lot going on yesterday amid all the Christopher Columbus hoopla.
Did you get a chance to watch the next show, Curb your Enthusiasm? (thought the last segment with the salt and wine stain was hillarious) lol

Hi Vlanj. I watched last night, but I have to watch it again you really have to pay attention to what is going on. It's was too funny becuz we have a big Christopher Columbus parade and we have a park in the Italian section of our city that was renamed Christopher Colomubo Park. It was all too familiar. Not the violence thou. And then Tony, Silvio, Christopher, and Patsy were driving from the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM in CT. Did they say the Mohigan Sun or maybe it could of been Foxwoods? They are both close by one another.

how about the sister throwing that little weasel down the stairs! Omigosh! how funny was that when he got up cursing, etc.lol. The irony, he was so o o o happy to finally be with her, ha ha.
and curb your enthusiasm, my gosh, i laughed out loud at the final shot of him "removing the stain."

Roe, I can't remember which they said. WAs it Foxwoods? lol It comes on again, and I usually watch it the 2nd time around because you are so right.....I miss a lot of what they say because of their accents. lol
Gailsie, that Janice is a mess, isn't she? lol She was a freak last season as well. Did you catch Tony's line to her when she yapped to him about nosing around in her private life? He responds with something like: 'because I had to throw your last boyfriend out in a hefty bag.' Classic Tony line. lol
Well, I don't trust Ralphie...he's a wacko. Should be interesting next Sunday.

yes V, that hefty bag line was very funny and said with such a straight face! ralphy is a wacko? we'd never know that judging by his and Janice's bedroom scene (I AM kidding)
Oh, how about this Soprano moment. All the "ladies" in the Church auditorium and the one of them giving the finger and hand gestures to the starers, oh my heavens, how funny! Then Carmela's friend saying she's gonna go "rip the priest a new one" or words to that affect. And there he is ready to shove a canolli down his throat. The repeat is at 10:15 tonight, right? Gotta see it again . . . lol

V,
I missed Sopranos last night....will catch it later in the week. And I haven't given Curb enough of a chance yet, but I will! Just saw part of one episode...guess Sunday nights aren't the best for me! Did catch Moulin Rouge on HBO the other night, hadn't seen that yet, and enjoyed the songs. Were those Nicole's and Ewan's real voices????

HBO didn't repeat the Soprano's last night. I'll have to see when the next time it is on. Bummer I wanted to watch it again.
Oh Ralphie is such a scum your so right. The hefty bag line was priceless.

Do you think Carmella will have an affair???He is not good looking at all. I like when she was interested in the contractor. I forgot his name. Now he was good looking.

Sorry didn't get back to you, V....I was having a 90-pound mole removed from my a**!! Did you see last night? Will need to catch Curb Your Enthusiasm on the rerun.
Isn't the ponytail guy Carmela's cousin? She seems to have the hots for him. Although she was doing a pretty good act with Tony there at the end.

Hi RnKns I really thought one of those guys was going to get it last night. I hate when the phone rings when I'm trying to watch it. I missed on why they called off the hit on Johnnie. I saw that Ralphie got off the hook. I missed it. Is it becuz of the candy bars??
No ponytail man is not Carmella's cousin he works for Tony. What is his name anyways?? She wants him bad huh. I just don't see what so nice looking about him.

Ponytail man is Furio, I believe. He looks dark and mysterious to Carmela, that's why she likes him, I think.

Did you notice they had "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with Regis on the TV? I thought that was pretty funny.

ROFL---to your comment about the 90 lb. mole....Very good S. (still cracking me up!)
Christopher is Carmella's relative. Saw Ralphie on that morning show from the West Coast and he said he's not leaving the show. They insisted that he was going to be killed off and he said absolutely not----he's there for this full season.
What was with the psychiatrist and Tony in the parking garage? He knew that was Tony---but yet he didn't tell Melfi that it was Tony when he was comparing her rape and this incident in the garage.
Oh, S., CYE is hillarious this week. Something to do with sponge cakes, a porno boy and a psycho nanny. Good stuff. lol
Getting ready for George W.

Still chuckling about Sopranos and the "guys" trying to make it right by Johnny (is that his name?) And then the wife, oy vey! How about when Tony heard the remark and then said with a straight face, "that's deplorable!" rofl!
CYI, very funny episode, from bakeries to Bartlett's; the BLANK from hell!
<vlanj>

How about some funny lines from the last episode......RnKnS got me to thinking.
Here's a couple I just thought of:
Ralphie to Tony talking about Johnny: "who does he (Johnny) think is keeping her (plump wife)in devil dogs anyway?" And,
Tony talking about Ralphie: "If he were drowning, I'd throw him a cinder block."
Any others?

V, last night's episode was filled with so many funny lines. However, they lose a little in the translation, if you get my drift, lol. Don't remember the exact line, but remember when johnny went to the big boss and asked to get ralphy wacked? Big boss thought ralphie wanted to (you know what) the wife?? oh my gosh!! The look on Johnny's face when he said, "no o o o o , . . . he disrespected her!"
repeats on at 10? HBO2?

OK, one last thought. Although this isn't a funny line.....but rather, a funny scene:
John's wife, I forget her name, is in the kitchen weighing her fruit salad....then laddles on the fat free whip cream. Johnny is so proud she's working so hard to shed some lbs. Then................ ....
finds her in the basement devouring her stash.
Oh Tony..............I think I'll accept Ralphie's apology. lol
<gailsie>

Yes V, Ginny was very meticulous in the weighing of her fruit salad. Did you get to see what was in her stash? All I saw were Twix bars amidst all the junk. You have to admit, she has a pretty face! And what a husband, explaining to "the guys" it's become "very difficult" ever since the children! rofl.
How about Ralphie's remark saying Janice is nuts just like the whole Soprano family and in walks Tony--"hey, Tony y y y y" (loved that scene of Janice shoving him down the stairs!)

So far this season, Carmella doesn't have as large of a part as she usual. She's one of my favorite characters, but they have her lusting over Furio, and constantly talking about her financial security. They're changing her, and she isn't as fun as she's been in the past. And they've toned down her platinum blonde hair. I liked the old Carmella better.
