OT - OJ Simpson

God I hope he cracks one day. This latest episode is so unsettling.

What happened? Haven't heard yet. He didn't find the real killers, did he?

His daughter called 911 after they argued profusely. She apparently screamed that she knows he killed her mother. Cops arrived and she then said all was okay. They are playing her tape to 911. She sounds majorly distraught.

Just the thought of O.J. makes my blood boil!
Something is so wrong when innocent people are found guilty (as is being proven over and over by DNA testing). And guilty people are found innocent (at least I don't think many of us believe that O.J. is innocent).

You know, I've heard OJ's name come up a lot recently in light of the current situation with Laci Peterson. Someone said they figured both men were out together looking for their wive's killers. I'm very distraught about this latest situation. For goodness sake, he went on tv and never asked the killers to return his wife? He was just trying to do damage control. How long is he going to hide her? If my husband lost me, (I would think) he would be pleading to bring me home, not trying to make himself look innocent.

I think both men are made of the same cloth.

Yeah, Laci's husband sure sobbed heavily in one interview I saw, but then again, so did Susan Smith after she killed her two small children by putting them in her car and rolling them into the water. Those are tears of guilt.

As far as O.J. goes, I don't know how he can even look at his children with a clear conscience.

Those poor children! I heard Sydney say something along the lines of no one bothers my dad but me. And she said isn't that abuse? OJ apparently said she reminds him of her mother. And look what he did to her. The kids must be going through so much mentally. And the poor grandparents that have no choice but to let OJ raise them. That would be so frustrating to know he has the children and hear what's been happening with him.

I saw that on CNN today. Sad. Sydney does look a lot like her mother too so maybe she does remind him of her. OJ just can't stay out of trouble, can he?

Good point about OJ and Scott Peterson. That case is in my area; I'm 45 minutes from Modesto and a friend of mine's husband knows Laci's dad and grandpa through the dairy industry. Everybody I've talked to around here thinks he did it. The only other thing I thought of was that maybe somebody took her for the baby, but Scott's not looking too good right now.

I just pray he cracks -- and he finally gets the jail time he deserves.

Where did you read that Sidney screamed that she knows he killed her mother? I didn't see that reported today but I have not seen a complete news story on this yet.

Hey Monica; we miss you on the private board too; you never came back to tell us how your trip to NJ/NY went. I bet you had a lot of fun, huh? What all did Dave take you to do? How did it go meeting his parents?

RnKnS, I saw that too; what a thing for OJ's kids to have to live with. He should have let the grandparents keep them and just gotten regular visitation.

Another strange case going on right now is that poor little boy who was abandoned in Salt Lake City. Sounds like the stepfather who abandoned him may have killed his mother.

I just heard on CNN that somebody up in Washington state thinks they may have seen Laci Peterson the day she turned up missing. That would be a relief if she and her unborn child were found alive. I guess that still remains to be seen though.

Wow I didn't hear that about Laci, I hope they find her. It is tragic about the boy, the last that I heard is that his biological father wants him home, and that he has been looking for him. So that should be good news for the boy.

That's odd; the board password or your own password?? I can resend you the board password but your's would be what you chose for yourself. I wonder if you tried to sign on during the board maintenance? Some of us had a problem getting on a couple weeks ago during that time period. Try again but I'll go ahead and resend the password to you anyway.

I'll have to backtrack and read about your wonderful time in NYC. That was too bad Lib went to Cape Cod at the same time you were there. Maybe next time.

About the little boy, his father was on CNN today; he's to be reunited with him today. You know, he's lucky some child molester didn't find him. What a thing to do to a little kid.

Did you see that mailtruck that got hijacked in CNN this morning? You'll see that story when you turn it on; Liberty just told me they released the hostage (a female mail carrier).
