I have not seen her appear in any Carnival Cruise ads in a while. Did they part company ? Obviously they can't feature her and Frank dancing the night away !! Or maybe so many people despise her that having her as a spokesperson was bad for business ???

Carnival Cruises homes in on the middle to seasoned aged misers. Getting that bang for your buck mentallity. She was the perfect spokeswoman for that kind of co. Cheesey. I can only speak for myself, but my husband and I just booked a cruise for our family on Holland America. We deliberately stayed away from Carnival because of the dreaded Kathie Mee. I can't say if she drives away business, but she certainly did in my case.

hippo, just a little information-Carnival owns Holland America but try to have a good time anyway. I remember that because Regis said it on the show one day after he did a commercial with Kathie, she stayed on the ship to do more commercials and he went on a cruise on Holland America, Carnival's more affluent line. Kathie just signed another 5 year deal with them. When you go to a travel agent and want to go on a cruise, the travel agents have videos for you to take home that tell you all about the ship you might want to go on. Kathie does the stuff in the video. So no, Kathie was not dumped from Carnival.
