Not only is it the same old scenario but the resemblance is uncanny! Ok the only difference is Kelly isn't married to some old coot, but are we going to have to suffer through all the baby stuff again (shades of Cody) oh no please not again!!!! I am surprised that they chose someone pregnant. Although, she doesn't seem to me like someone who will go on and on about her children. I like her at times and other times she gets on my nerves. Says things that seem inappropriate for what is going on. I guess since Gelman and Laurie are going to have a baby he won't mind listening so much.

Kelly's style of dress is much like Kathie Lee's current look, as for Kelly's personality? it's more reflective of Kathie Lee in her early days, only in fairness to Kelly, I have to say she seems a lot more quick and witty. She's also just about the age Kathie was when Live first aired. So it appears Live did not want to stray too far from the orignial formula? If Kelly starts bragging about her kids and her love life or starts picthing her latest career endevors or products she is endorsing. I will begin to believe Gelman and Regis are gluttons for punishment

Kelly goes on about Regis too much. Just seems like a brown noser. I hope they didn't put her on a long contract either. I like her at times and other times I want to change the channel. Her husband is very handsome. I wonder if Regis and Gelman might be bothered that she is such good friends with Angela Shapiro. I wonder if they even made the decision that she would be the new co-host. Gelman and Regis? She will get alot of offers for movies and who knows what else by being on Live.

Brown noser to say the least! Maybe she will get over it in time and settle in. And hopefully she will stop patting him like KLG used to do....I can't stand that.
My husband never liked KLG and for the first time yesterday watched Kelly and within minutes said "I don't like her either". It sure does seem like they wanted to copy that chemistry that worked so well for years between Regis and KMG...too bad, it risks getting stale again.
