Regis and Kelly

This show only gets better and better. I only watched Kathie Lee just to see if she was going to make a fool of herself talking about her and Franks sex life or name dropping all the famous people she was a shirt tail relative to.

I think the heat of Regis' long overdue success of Millionaire was more than she could take. She was definetely a back burner story. She could no longer get the attention she craved by acting like a bimbo.

Now Kelly, this is one classy lady. I've watch her and her hair evolve since her first days on AMC. Does anyone remember her "black hair" look?

She has truly sincere on screen chemistry with Regis and makes us wish her the best without all the sickening sugary sweet junk we got from you know who.

By the way does anyone care that Kathie Lee gave her blessing to this pairing? Kelly is going to make it BIG, without the tooting of Ms. Gifford's horn.

Oh and by the way, I wish all celebrity marriages such as Kelly's had the chemistry that hers seems to project.

I'd wish you luck Kel----but you don't need it. You and Regis together or apart are AMAZING!!!!!!!

I could not agree with you more! I used to change the station at times because I couldnt stand listening to Kathy.

Kelly brings a refreshing atmosphere to the show.(not to mention how much happier Regis seems to be)

And yes I remember the rebelous black haired Kelly. She has come a long way. She has deffinately evolved into a classy lady. I dont think that we will have to worry about her turning into a kathy. (who seems to managed to keep herself on the show by calling Kelly and sending her gifts)

Kathie Lee will probably invite Kelly to her home or out to lunch. I guarantee you she regrets leaving that show. I don't care how much she denies it. I wonder if they will have her on the show to promote movie on E. I hope not!!!

I first came to know who Kelly was several years before she made her first appearance on AMC. She was on a kids program on USA Network called 'Dance Party'. The different kids on the show would take turns playing host during the program. Kelly was one of those that made me sit up and take notice. When she had the mic and the camera closed in on her I could tell then that she had the makings of a great TV personality. The camera absolutely loved her and even at her age at the time (14 or 15?) she handled herself in an outstanding manner. As a matter of fact, I made it a point to capture a couple of broadcasts on tape so that I could show different people the girl that I was absolutely sure was going to make it big. Several years after Dance Party went off the air, I could hardly believe my eyes when she showed up on AMC. I have kept track of her progress there and wasn't surprised at all when they cast her in the role of a TV talk show host. Today she has come all the way to the top, being chosen to co-host with Regis and I can only hope that some day I can personally tell her that I am proud that she made it to where I knew she could go!

I think you people need to GET OVER Kathie Lee. It's like you guys are secretly jealous of her fame, whatever level it's on. There's nothing so hot about Kelly Ripa. Her voice sounds like a cackle, which can be VERY ANNOYING if you're not feeling well in the morning. Kelly sounds sickeningly geechee, like some starry-eyed 12 year old !

Kathie Lee has enough money to make movies, play golf, travel to wherever, and not have to play second fiddle to an old 69 year old Fart like Regis. I think it's disgusting that Regis picks someone who looks like she should be his granddaughter. Personally, I get SICK of that OLD MAN/BABY WOMAN co-hosting business. When will they ever pair it in REVERSE !

i agree get with carmen the bit with k.lee..shes fine doesnt need that show..regis is 40 years older than kelly and the age differance is wacky..hes the one that egged on k.lee with the kid stories..and her husband..if they didnt have her life to pick on he'd be on tv still but doing that stupid aspercreme commercial..im a k.lee fan so there!!!

I'm so glad "FORREAL" agrees with me about the obsession with the rest of you, always bashing Kathie Lee. It's kind of like Kathie is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. I hope Kathie Lee is laughing all the way to the BANK!

Some of you sound like the Republicans' addiction to bashing former president Clinton. After awhile it sounds paranoid.

As long as women IN THIS COUNTRY keep accepting the attitude that OLD MEN should be with BARBIE DOLLS, and mature women should take a back seat, you'll always see dried-up old men like Regis Philbin cast on TV with their
"granddaughter look-alikes" .

Personally, I don't think Regis picked Kelly. I think he wanted it by himself or with his wife. I really don't think age of co-host mattered to him. It just makes people mention his age more.

A BIG THANK YOU TO CARMEN AND FORREAL for telling people to get over there problems with Kathie Lee.I am a big fan of hers and miss her on a daily basis.I go to her website ooften and have made many friends there.Get over what ever problems you have with Kathie lee.She is enjoying her life and doing what she wants too.Kelly i like also,but i have to admit at first i did not like her being with Regis but i got used to her and her ways.
