View Full Version : Let's get back to talking about Regis & Lathie Lee!
Well, we have a new board, like it or not, I guess it's what we're going to have to use to chat about the show. It seems lately that there has been one person imparticular, that has had a comment for just about everyone who has posted on this board. If you take the time to read through almost ALL of the topics, I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about. I know I sure would like to get back to talking about the show and not have to read about what this persons view is about the people who post here. I don't think we need to call attention to this foul mouthed rambeling individual by defending ourselves to him/her by responding to every comment he/she makes about our postings. That is what this person wants us to do, let's get our board back and start dishing!!!

Right on Emme, we are here to express our opinion good or bad.
Right you are Emme
Well I watched the show this morning, and was glad to see Regis back. I sure didn't care for KLG's suggestion of who to replace her, but I think she was just kidding. It is going to be intersting to watch who has applied for it.
Hi Emme, Pat & Sean - It's nice to see that you guys found your way onto this board. It took me a while. I suppose they had to have the board down a few days while they started this one up. Now if only I could get my keyboard to stop sticking, it misses every third letter. By the way Sean, Kathie Lee must have been watching Saturday Night Live this weekend because in a skit Darva Conger (sp??) was one of the people to show up to audition for LIVE with Regis and Kathie Lee. They also had "Star Jones", who was repremanded for doing so by "Barbara Walters, and "Chris Rock" who chided "Regis" about the lack of minorities on The Millionaire Show. Now I'm drawing a blank as to who else might have shown up for the audition. I actually thought the skit could have been a bit funnier but, then again, I don't think SNL is what it used to be either.
Hi Roxy
Well I hope they pick a good one. I thought Howie Mandel was really funny last week and he could be an option. Anyway thanks for the info.
Howie had me in tears. I thought that bit with the coat check at Tavern On The Green was hysterical - especially when he told those women that it was "Cape Day". Now am I ever sorry that I never watched his show. I wonder if he did schtick like that when it was on. Well I'll never know now will I.
Yes, he was just as funny on his own show. I will never forget the time he put on a chicken suit and went out in the busy street to see why the chicken crossed the road.
I wish they would bring him back on. Have a great night Roxy, nice talking to you.
Yes Howie's show was just as funny as what he did on Regis and kathie lee show. I used to watch it all the time and hated to see it go. I wouldn't mind seeing him take Kathie's place. It would be nice breathe of fresh air.
