Does anyone know why Lynne left QVC? At first she didn't appeal to
me, but as time went on she improved.

If I remember correctly, I believe the Q did not renew her contract when it rolled around. I don't know what she's doing now, but I agree, she did grow on you.....

I think you are correct...they may have not renewed her contract. I was fond of her as well. Although, she is married to a host on the Weather Channel, Jim Cantore...so perhaps the commute was difficult.

Steve definitely had the hots for Lynn. Everytime she did a walk on, his eyes would light up and he would always say - "You look GREAT Lady." It was the tone of his voice that was inappropriate, considering the fact that she was married. She looked very uncomfortable when he made statements like that.

Her husband was very pleasant looking. Bald and she seemed crazy about him. He looked nothing like Jim Cantore. I think they moved rrom California to Philadelphia when she got the job on the Q. She did improve as she went along. I am sure they all do if there long enough. Ha...

Lynne was fired by QVC in 2001 for her involvement in a discrimination lawsuit filed by some former QVC hosts.

Sorry for the confusion! The now invisible post just reminded me of the scene from the old movie Chinatown where it turns out Faye Dunaway was her own daughter's sister. "Sister" (slap) "daughter" (slap) "sister" (slap) "daughter" (slap).
