Regis and Kelly are up a bit from the week prior, and Maury took a dive. Bet R, K and G are loving it.

Anyone want to take a guess what the number will be for this week (week ending 9/7/03)? I will guess 4.1.

4.1 is what Dr. Phil got! Maybe people were anxious to hear from R&K after two weeks of reruns so you never know (what it will be this week).

I don't know - 4.1 sounds a little high for the week with Labor Day in it.. I think I will go with 3.8, and that might be pushing it..

I keep wondering why Dr. Phil keeps getting the ratings he does..
I tired of hearing him ream people out very quickly... Isn't 4.1 about the lowest number he has had since inception?

Oprah, on the other hand, I think people will watch and watch and watch... Reruns or not..

Dr. Phil comes on in the afternoons in most places and more people watch tv then.

Maybe a lot of armchair psychologists out there wanting to second guess him? Or hear his latest Dr. Phil-ism?

Oprah should shoot way up for the week of September 15, when she comes back live. That's the one thing about basically taking the summer off....people are really HAPPY to see you back! Dr. Phil came out of the gate huge last fall, but has tapered off a lot. He's still strong and you're right, a bit of a mystery to me too.
