what a nice thoughtful day Mark planned for Kelly. Really sounds like that marriage is in troube lol
....what a great way to spend a birthday!!
<Really sounds like that marriage is in troube lol>
Danielle, funny that you bring that up - I remember reading one of tabloids - the one where Mark called Kelly fat - saying that they didn't do anything romantic for their anniversary. They just stayed home.
Sounds like Mark really knows how to surprise Kelly. Finola Hughes posted on her website that she had been at a surprised for Kelly years ago that Mark planned for her.

Nice to hear you say something positive for a change Patty.
I've never been to Montreal before so I can't help you out with your question.
On my TV,the sweater looked like it was chocolate brown in color but could have been black. She sure did play with the sleeves alot.

you see if and when I find something positive to say I do, Im not all negative, but when it warrants(sp) it I say it.
Danielle

and that's all people expect of you...and it is nice when you post something positive. Speaking for myself and not directing this at you ...it just gets annoying when some only post negative.
have a great day :-)

like I said if I find something positive to say I ll say it .You know you cant like everything and everyone all the time and if you dont like someone or something just because other people do, why be a hypocrit(sp) or a phony just to be excepted.

What a lovely surprise. What a romantic day for Kelly and Mark.
I thought the shirt looked dark brown also.

I understand what you are saying completely.....also wanted to add I never saw you as someone who nit picks and only posts negative. This may come up twice because I already posted it and it didn't show up for some reason.. thinking the boards may crash again!!

For my 21st my now ex-husband told me to get dressed up and blindfolded me...He took me to downtown Toronto and took me to the Eaton Centre (this is a huge mall in Toronto) He told me to pick a store and pick out any gift I wanted. After that he took me to see Cats and then out for an amazing dinner. It was such a nice birthday!!Although I think I looked pretty stupid walking around with the blindfold on lol

some of the host chat - did you say that Mark had a surprise party for her too?

Yep, he had a surprise party for her somewhere downtown when they returned from Montreal...Live folks, cast of H&F, and, I'm sure some AMCers....

That was the only part of the show that I was able to see today..Kelly's description of her birthday events....wow....sounds wonderful. He went to a great deal of effort to organize all that. Loved her way of telling the story.
We all know how much fun it is to do something like that for someone who gets all excited as Kelly did. It's a blast. I am sure he got as much fun out of it as she did.
Thought he was kind of a stick in the mud...a nice stick in the mud, but nonetheless...a stick...I was wrong.
Mark...I salute you!!!
<Thought he was kind of a stick in the mud...a nice stick in the mud, but nonetheless...a stick...I was wrong.>
do you mean Regis?

Sorry, wasn't clear there....I thought Mark was a stick...then I said I was wrong about that.

Mark should treat Kelly royally. He has a great life because of her and her salaries and he should appreciate that. I hope he gets successful someday, too. First suggestion - grow out your hair Mark. Second suggestion - curb your temper Mark. Third and final suggestion - SHAVE!
remember his support is what helps her be so successful. Everytime he goes away he always has his father stay w/her to help w/the kids. You never hear her mention her father coming to stay w/her and he lives closer.

lol!
I hate to say it. But one has to wonder, in today's entertainment business, if part of the reason he went to such elaborate lengths yesterday was because of the bad rap he's gotten recently in the press, and he's looking for some good press for a change. Deep down, I don't think so. Whatever his motives were, it sounds like a super birthday.
isn't the first time he has done this. Remember Mother's Day of 2002, he had his parents come over and watch the kids and surprised Kelly w/a weekend in Montreal. This was before he left for Australia. I'm thinking that he wanted to make this birthday special since he missed her birthday last year.

here's a thought maybe he did it because he loves her ????
Of Course
10-03-2003, 01:00 PM
He loves her ... But publicity was also a major factor..If not, Kelly would not have gone to such elaborate lengths to tell story... I also believe that much of it was paid by H&F publicity dept....which never misses an opportuinty to plug Kelly and show...but hey, that is their job. ... Now any adverse publicity about Mark has been quenched, and the happy couple continue on.... AHHHH .. the world of the celebrity, they make it up as they go along.

LOL...
<<which never misses an opportuinty to plug Kelly and show...but hey, that is their job.>>
You know for a fact they have never missed an oportunity to plug Kelly and the show?? What does how Mark is perceived by the press have anything to do with Hope and Faith?
<<they make it up as they go along.>>
As do you, 24, as do you... You must drink the same water as Lisac, to come up with something that bizarre..
Kelly has been telling some mighty good "elaborate" stories for a while now.. (Much to the chagrin of some, btw..)
So, you are telling us that there will be no more talk of Mark's temper? Because H&F helped foot the bill for a romantic interlude on Kelly's birthday??
Or no more talk about their marriage being in trouble? Because H&F helped foot the bill for a romantic, etc...
Wow... If Kelly is smart, she will stop having birthdays altogether.. Such a nefarious person to have a birthday so her husband can surprise her once again, for such selfish reasons..
LOL, lets see how the rags spin the birthday story..
;0))

the tabloids made a point of saying that they didn't do anything special for their 7 yr anniversary.
Unfortunately, I don't think the tabloids will ever leave them alone while Kelly is in the spotlight.
L,
I was thinking the same thing....Actually when Kelly was gushing on and on about Mark being such a great husband, Marie & Ahhnold came to mind. lol
Marie tried to do some damage control on Oprah telling the audience what a great husband her Ahhnold is and all the thoughtful things he says and does for her.
It's too bad that their wives can't tell the viewers those things before their hubbies have some bad press. lol
But, in the end, Kelly had a great birthday and she was excited relaying the story.

WOW!!!! What a day he planned for her!! Perhaps I should show this show to my boyfriend and make suggestions....

LOL, Stephanie...
Good idea!
(Just be sure you contact the publicity department of Hope and Faith and get a subsidy... ROFL)
How excited was Kelly!
Too Kewl...

I think they are jealous because their husbands aren't romantic (don't rightly blame them with wives like these).
Doesn't Mackey use a lot of dots in his posts, like <of course>?
