Did anyone see that Elton John will be doing 75 shows at Caesar's Palace on the big stage they made for Celine Dion...guess it starts off in February...I'm thinking hubby and I HAVE to go!!!

Elton John is doing shows when Celine goes on vacations. I think they are spread out, not 75 in a row.
They didn't want to leave the showroom dark for two or three weeks at a time, as all of the employees would have to be off. This keeps them working, money coming in, etc.

Skeeter - all the article says is that he'll be doing his show five times a week for five weeks a year for three years...a deal reported to be worth $50 million...

I'm sure Celine is still on schedule for her shows...I'll try to find something on-line - I read this AP article in a local paper.

I like his new song....listened to it here and there for 3 weeks, didn't even know it was him until I heard the DJ say his name the other day. Sort of has a 70's "Don't go Breakin My Heart" feel to it.
