Not sure how much this would be considered spoilers but just in case....ok I posted the other day how the members that have been voted out are now a third tribe. The third tribe for now is called the "ghost tribe." It looks like the buffs are purple and black. Here is some more information:
Drake, Morgan and the Ghost team will be competeing as whole teams. So it's to the advantage of Morgan if Drake wins and visa versa, because if the Ghost team wins then for sure someone is going home from each tribe. If either Drake or Morgan will then the other tribe would got to TC. But if the Ghost tribe wins, and since this episode is a two parter, it will probably be true that the Ghost tribe wins, then each of the Drake tribe and the Morgan tribe must go to TC and vote one off. The ghost tribe will compete against each other for the one open spot, since 2 tribe members (one from each the drake and morgan tribe) have been voted off. I got this off of one of the spoiler sites, but I've adjusted it a little after thinking about it.
So lets say Drake wins the 3 way Immunity challenge. Then Morgan will go to TC, and then can finally vote of Osten. If Morgan wins then Drake goes to TC and they can rid themselves of Jon. But if the Ghost tribe wins, then Morgan and Drake both have to go to TC and each vote one member off. The Ghost tribe members will play against each other and the winner will get to reenter the game with the merged tribes. And if Lillian wins she reenters the game.
I do think the ghost tribe will win since it is a two parter, wondering who to pick to vote out this week for the pickem game I am in. I am in 9th place, might keep doing what I have been which is picking 3-5 players and spreading my points LOL

Your welcome Scoops, goodness at my spelling errors! Glad you could make sense of that post LOL
Not sure how fair it will be to have one of the members that was voted out to come back, the rumor is that Lillian or Trish are one of the ones coming back.

I don't think it's fair at all, but it sure makes it exciting.

Your welcome Miss P- ok guys here is how I understand it from the research that I have done.
1) Not sure how accuate the rules are but the premise is that starting Thursday there will be three tribes, Drake, Morgan, and Ghost.
2) Ghost tribe consists of Ryan, Nicole, Lillian, Trish, Burton, and Michelle. All the ones that were voted off by their original tribe.
3) Now all three tribes are competing for the Immunity reward
4) If Drake wins, then Morgan goes to TC, if Morgan wins then Drake goes to TC. Neither of these two teams want the ghost team to win.
5) If ghost team wins, ( which I am thinking will happen since this is the first part of a two part show) then both Morgan and Drake teams to go TC to vote off one member.
6) The ghost team will then compete to see who will rejoin the tribe. So one ghost member ( the ones already voted off) will replace just one of the Drake or Morgan member voted off.
7) I am thinking that episode 9 will have 9 players and will become one tribe, with one of the ghost members becoming a member.
Does this make more sense? Please say yes.....

Hi Miss P...I am watching it too, well I was switching back and forth between that and Larry King.
The first post was a jumble mess, never post until you have your first cup of coffee in the am, and do not post if you have had a long day at work LOL
I am not a country music fan ( well I do like Shania Twain) but damn Tim is a sexy man!! He just oozes sex, his body his voice....ok I will stop now. How does he get those jeans on? LOL
Skeeter

OK...that was much better. Plus, I just read this without 5 people hovering over me. lol!!!
Looking forward to Thursday. HOpe I remember to set my VCR (it's just one hour, right?), as it's trick-or-treat night that night!!!

The thing is, they (Tim and Faith) seem like such nice people. SINCERELY nice....
Skeeter, I can tape it for you if you want. Not sure about how long it will be though. I would love a 2 hour show!!!!! :)
Skeeter
10-27-2003, 06:58 PM
Thanks, MsPiggie, but I'll probably remember to tape it!!! :) Life just gets a little crazy around here sometimes. The twins are going as devils (how appropriate) and we painted my daughter's nails for the parade the other night. She is still showing everyone her nail polish!!!!!

Tim is awfully nice to look at, and listen to...speaking of that, I just saw Survivor's Colby on a Shick razor commercial. I had heard he was going to acting school. He did a great job, very professional, and still looking mighty fine.

Good Morning! As far as I know tomorrow night it is only an hour show, during the season they have two hour shows but I have not heard anything yet. Does anyone watch Ellen and /or Sharon? I heard Jeff was on this week and have not had time to find the transcripts.
Here is an article about this season's losers lodge, thought you guys would find interesting
THE "PONDEROSA" - A WHOLE NEW LOSER LODGE
In previous articles, we reported that Survivor crew built cabins
on a small uncharted island the locals call "isla Perico" to house
the booted players. Those early days at Perico were no picnic for
booted castaways. Their food intake was limited, soft drinks and
alcohol were off limits and they were made to exercise their little
hearts out. This is radically different from previous editions when
ousted players had a nice loser's vacation. The bootees may be out,
but the game is clearly still on.

I think I know why the show did it. How often have we seen great players voted out because they were great at surviving? Often, all that was left was a rag tag and lazy group who would die in reality if stranded on an island.
Monica,
They knew the losers would be retuning to the "scene,", so I guess they didn't want them too relaxed. lol
I don't know if I like them coming back....once you get booted, they should stay booted. They were the worst of the bunch, so why give them another chance? lol I forget why they booted the scout lady, did she deserve getting axed?
And, will the losers join the show just for this one episode? Geeze, I hope this turns out good and isn't a flop. lol
Monica

I agree once they are gone, they are gone. Read my post on the spoilers, if the ghost tribe wins IM tomorrow night then both the Drake and Morgan tribe go to TC and either one or two people from the ghost tribe comes back into the game.
I do agree with you, once they are gone, they should stay gone. The runors are that Lillian and Burton return to the game, not sure so don't quote me. They used Lillian losing the fish hook as an excuse, she worked her butt off for the tribe. Instead they keep Osten, yes he has muscles but damn Christa kept the weight on longer last week that he did!
It is a two parter, so I am thinking we will see the ghost tribe next week too, not sure?
Hellfire
10-29-2003, 04:33 AM
They booted the scout lady because they decided if she had been hanging by a rope for hours she wouldn't have lasted. The black guy with all the muscles wanted off. They thought he would be good in competitions. Turns out the poor guy can get his butt whipped by girls. LOL!
The scout lady was doing most of the camp work and had the best work ethic. They assumed she was weak and never gave her a chance to prove herself. They immediately felt her absence.

Good Morning...pouring buckets here.
Monica, I saw the Probst interview.(sort of)lol He was on to promote some other reality show that he is going to be hosting...don't recall much about it, I was half listening while on the phone. As for Survivor, he gave nothing away that isn't shown on the commercials. Ellen made some jokes about initially thinking Jon looked like the guy in Endless Love, (that Brooke Shield's island movie). lol then Jeff went on to say that he made his mom perm his hair when he was younger so that he could look like the actor in that movie.
Lillian was booted I think because she lost the fishhook by going off fishing alone.
Hi Mon,
That's right....Lillian and the fish hook. Well, I remember them saying that anyone can start a fire, so she won't be missed. Ugh, Osten is the worst! He is awful...I picked him to go the first night. lol
I missed when he needed help in the water, was it embarrassing? lol For such a big guy, he is just terrible in the strength contests....and don't even bring up his lack of mental abilities. Oy.
Yup, Christa matched him, kudos to her.
* HF, they should have "let" Osten go home when he wanted....he's a waste. Actually, it is funny watching him perform. lol
Hellfire
10-29-2003, 06:22 AM
Osten is a waste. My hubby hates him. He'll be screaming you wuss, you wimp, you waste of flesh. He says he's embarassed to be a man with people like Osten on the planet.hahahah
We've had long discussions as to what Osten's real life is like. We think he was raised by his mom with no father around. We mimic his voice and say "Mommy, is my bath drawn yet?" "Mommy, can you bring me my blankie, I'm code." "Mommy, can you make me a sandwich with miracle whip?"
Yeah, we have no life. LOL!

Hellfire, we agree on Rupert! He is my absolute favorite but I don't think he will last much longer. Due to his strength, the other members know he is a threat and know they cannot win against him. Same thing with Shawn, the rest of the tribe will be in trouble when it comes time for the individual challenges. I did not like what Rupert said in the previews, he is upset that two people voted for him, why does that surprise him? It is part of the game, and from watching the show, he knows that.
I cannot believe Osten is still there, it just amazes me!! Yes he is strong, but he does not use it to his advantage or to the team's advanage. Did he think the show was going to hand him the million dollar check on a silver platter while he is laying on the hammock? LOL

For those of you that like Survivor, it is worth checking out the reality show board here.....Sam,(the main author), notyou, hellfire and some others have a really funny, clever, fantasy tvtalk Survivor episode going on. I cannot do it justice, you should take a peek.

You should check out our truth or dare game too. Now that's a hoot.
My dare was to do the Shelly Winters thing, but I wasn't allowed to say on the thread it was a dare. Saying it on this thread shouldn't be breaking the rules. LOL!

It's more fun "dressing up" for Survivor. Especially, when you know there's women all over the place doing the same thing. We're starting to feel like we're having a slumber party. It's great fun!
Notyou and I were dying laughing that you all were so "nice" on the thread and no one asked if I had flown off the deep end. LOL!

You know, one of my husbands roommates in his bachelor pad always held the ball or sports equipment corresponding to the game he was watching on tv.
We would walk in, and he would be clutching a football, tennis raquet, or have a baseball mitt in his hand. He would even hold a golfclub when watching golf. His wife says he still does it.
There is something to be said for being "in the moment".
Looking forward to wearing my hat. lol

Did not make the connection then..
Your post was a bit over the top, but not enough to send off the flares that Jules' post did...
Are we to assume this will escalate??? Oh, please, no... If so...
Are you picking on this board cause we are the stuffiest? or the most fun??

I'm sure we'll tire of this game in a few days or weeks.hahahahah

But actually, Hellfire, I could do that in a New York minute... The only thing is they would (1) not take me seriously, or (2) take me seriously... Not sure which would be the worse...

PK Do I get to pose a truth or dare to you now??
Hellfire
10-30-2003, 02:56 PM
