Jessica Lynch....O/T What do you think?

Apparently, the Iraqi lawyer who led the American military to where Jessica was being held visited her town yesterday and she did not show up to greet him. She issued a statement that she was too busy and hoped to meet him some other time. I would think if someone had risked his life to save mine I would clear my busy Palestine, West Virginia (?) schedule to thank him!

I'll be off working for a few days, as I know some of you will be happy to hear;) But....when I get back, I'll be back! LOL

i really wish no harm on anybody and i respect her for serving our country

but she like many other people become little media whores with tv movies

maybe the media builds them up too much and so we expect too much but i would have moved my schedule around to see the guy

Thanks Mackey! Unfortunately my flight is delayed due to California fires!!!! I feel sorry for those people out there and now I'm bored at the airport posting on TvTalkShows.com. lol I refuse to go duty free shopping....Overpriced teddy bears in pilots caps for the most part. Okay, so I peeked in there! lol ;)

I agree, she should make time to thank him if it's actually as reported. However, I also think the media would have us believe what they want us to. Although why they would want us to think that Jessica Lynch would actually snub the man who saved her life is beyond me. I guess I just always want to believe the best in people, so I'm thinking that maybe there's more to it than that.

Thank you Ledhead.. I am almost there, still quite a bit of discoloration, and can't fully open my mouth, but otherwise, I am back to whatever passes for normal for me.
