I learned something this weekend. You know how when you move furniture around in your house, you have all these dents in your carpet?
Put Ice Cubes on them! The carpet will absorb the water, and then go back to it's original state, with no dents! Try it next time you move something around in your house! It works wonders!!!

It works on most types of carpet.

Jules- Do you have any tips on how to stop a cat from sharpening his claws on the furniture, or a dog humping on everyones leg? I mean, other than just grilling them up. Lol

For those worried about not having a 'clean house' when the family gathers on Christmas, etc why not check out: www.flylady.net? This website is designed for both sexes and offers swift, if not painless ways to cope with holiday madness!

I have a tip. Anyone with Kids needs to go out and buy the mister clean eraser. It is in the cleaning supply section at your local store. It is awesome. Gets just about anything off of the walls. it comes in a box with 2 erasers in it and costs about $2 (US). I love it. I have a 3 yr old who likes to put artwork on surfaces other than paper. It cleans the crayon off the walls, fridge, furniture etc etc etc.

WD40 will also get crayons off the walls.

Has anyone here used the "Swiffer" moppy thingy or something similar to it? My kitchen floors are the type that are hard to clean. It's the tile stuff from the 70's. They are still very nice and in good shape, but brother, they are a pain in the "you know what".

I'm the one that gets down on my hands and knees and mops, and at MY age, it's a killer..lol...not that I'm old or anything..lol

I have it Cindyloo and it's great for fast clean ups or just an in between cleaning. I love it. I still do a good old fashioned floor wash once a week though. :-)

Cindyloo, I promise you will like the ShMop. I have been told it is good anyway! :)

I am still trying to give this Swiffer away....

I read quite a bit of the threads about the mops and such. I am going to give that ShMop a try. It sounds like a good dealio to me, and I think it would work good on my kitchen floors.

I'm also interested in the Hoover Mate for hardwood floors.

Now...where do I buy them? Walmart or stores like that?

Thanks you guys for helping me.

Happy New Year to all!!!

Hi CindyLoo....

You can go to www.jeffcampbell.com and order the ShMop online (here we go again, everyone!)....you might also want to get teh ShClean (a cleaner for your floors). It's water-based, and does an awesome job!

Look around the site...they have awesome customer service. You can either order online or via an 800 number, if you want to talk to someone personally...

Let me know how you like it!!

:)
