Kathie Lee on The View

She had very nice things to say about Kelly and even went so far as to say Kelly and Regis share the same kind of relationship and she and Regis....Kind of surprised me when Kathie Lee tackled Joy. LOL Boy if that had of been Kelly the posts would have been flying to say the least.

Just caught part of the show and wish I had paid attention to the show Cody is supposed to be on--did anyone get that? He's very cute--looks a lot like his dad.

Danielle...I saw the show and I'm glad she had nice things to say about Kelly, but I just can't get into Kathie Lee. I think the character she will be playing on H&F looked so predictable in the clip. Kathie Lee looked old and washed out imo today and when will she ever learn that those kind of off the shoulder tops are not flattering on her.

I remembered Kathie Lee was going to be on the View about 11:30 this morning,so I caught the very end of her interview.How nice to read that she had such nice comments about Kelly.I loved the little shoving and pushing from Kathie Lee of Joy.Wish I had seen the whole interview.Thanks for the nice review Danielle.

I debated watching the View, but only remembered the Barbara connection, and wasn't that interested... So, I missed it...

I'm really looking forward to the gags on her H&F appearance...

I've not seen her do much scripted work, but what I have seen was entertaining...

PK, you should be able to watch it tonight. We have satellite and we get the View on the TALK channel at 8:00 pm MST. I hardly ever watch the View, but will make a point of it tonight because of KLG.

I thought Kathie looked terrific on the View. I know you're thinking I can't be objective but when she was on with Ali and Jack I didn't think she looked all that great that day and I posted as such. I think she looks good in off the shoulder tops. And the "catfight" that broke out was hilarious. Everybody including the hosts was laughing hysterically. She was very complimentary to Kelly and the episode of H&F looks funny. Granted, Cassandra, it's not Seinfeld material but I don't think that it's her fault.I think it's the show itself that's not Seinfeld material. She's just playing a part and Kelly, too. Try and be objective when you watch it.

Danielle, I only saw the beginning of KL's appearance so when you posted this, I thought you meant KL "verbally" tackled Joy Philbin, kinda like blindsided her with a dig. It didn't sound right but I didn't question. Now after watching Access Hollywood tonight I see what you meant! THAT WAS FUNNY! The funny thing is, I kinda wish Kelly would do stuff like that on her talk show appearances, cut up with the hosts, etc. Kelly's last two appearances (on Conan and Jay, I missed The View) have been a little stiff IMO. So I'd love to see her cut up like that! But that's just me.

I loved Star's comment at the very beginning of the whole exchange, and her pouty face....."I don't like him" (regarding Jimmy Kimmel) The whole thing was really fun....glad I got to see it, even a day late.

BigKLGfan, love to see you posting. It looked like KLG was taking her role of Marge "over the top" but you're right, it fits in with the tone of the show. If all of the other actors were understated and she came out all gum-chewing and sneering, it'd be another story.

Hi Susan I found it funny also and totally unexpected. But I do beleive if Kelly had done anything like that she would have been attacked here by some, and I do not include you in that. I have found you to be a fair poster and always friendly to me. You get your points across without being vicious and I respect you for that :-)
