But I just watched Kathie Lee Gifford on The View and she was saying that Regis and Kelly have the same relationship as her and Regis had.And she continued by saying that it was a good thing as they will be together for a long time to come.

Just her opinion but never the less,I totally agree with her.

Lmroland, that's not what she said. She said you have to admire and respect someone IF you're gonna last a long time. Personally I don't think they will last 15 years like R&KL did but that's only because then Regis will be past 85!!!

KL said "they admire and respect each other and you have to. You have to if you are going to last a long, long time. I think they have a similar relationship as we did...."

I just watched it on my tape. I love her curly hair.

Thanks MsPiggie for giving us the ACCURATE quote... pretty big difference from what was originally reported in this thread!

well I don't think lmroland is a reporter so I'd hardly call it a report...and I don't recall her posting her "report" in quotes. Simply her opinion of what she heard.....Funny I took it the same way as lmroland. Guess we better start recording before posting lol

MsP...

I agree... I haven't a clue what "Thanks" is trying to say... Post one and two, were only a little off the mark of what was actually said..

But also agree, thank you for the post. Nice to know that KLG is aware of Regis and Kelly's relationship... LOL... HOW often have we been told that Regis and Kathie are in close communication... Seems she would, indeed, have the "skinny" on their relationship...

;0))

BTW, did anyone hear her ask (before they went to break) why Elizabeth got the job and not her? She said "her", so I am assuming it was Elizabeth she was referring to.

I didn't know she was wanting it.

Oh well...

LOL... Must surely have been a little joke, or she really can't count...

"Young" one???

Come on MsPiggie, that was a joke! It had to do with the fact that all the tabloids had her wanting the job and trying to do anything to get it. Lmroland, I only corrected you because it just goes to show you that if you leave out a few words here and there it changes the context of what really was said.

Too bad Kathie Mee can't be just "left out" period ...

Her going on the Jimmy Kimmel show is unbelievable ... what's she going to do the first time the "F" word is used!!!!

Hey, Suzanne, FYI...

She has no problem with the 'F' word... She substituted it for "GD" in her broadway stint...

Just a comment. Don't shoot the messenger.

I just don't follow her enough to know what is what.
