View Full Version : Regis is Back.......but sick..........

V..

......Yikes, his voice is really bad. Good that Kelly caught the Apprentice yesterday to help out during newschat. (adios to Tammy)

All good suggestions for his stomach problem, btw. He must have really been sick, I noticed his makeup a bit heavier today....he probably was as white as a ghost.

* ABC is very lucky to have Regis and Kelly promoting each of their shows on Live!

Geesh....No kidding V!lol
(I think this was mentioned already)

I am glad you had a change of heart regarding Regis and Kelly and the promoting of BOTH of their shows.lol

Poor Regis, that stomach flu is no fun,my daughter just got over it and now my son has it.Hope Regis feels better soon,I think he should have stayed at home instead of spreading his germs.

V..

Reege can't stay home, some of us know that. lol (although, maybe PS wasn't available on such short notice) lol

What? Re-read my post.

Morning V, See the juvenile name calling continues, ARGGG ~~ Oh well!! yeah, Regis does seem to really have a bad bug, kelly was very nice to him. It must be difficult knowing he has to be 'in form' for his new show.

Susan, I don't miss that Regis is 'socking it to us' re sports, I thought he would choke when saying that Patriots won superbowl.
We New Englanders are a hardy lot, so we just wait, and let the 'games begin'.

Have a nice weekend, nice to see the ocean normalizing. Morning Raven.

<<<Morning V, See the juvenile name calling continues, ARGGG ~~ Oh well!!>>>

Yes, you are indeed correct. lol

<<<We New Englanders are a hardy lot, so we just wait, and let the 'games begin'.>>>

You are right. I don't know what the Yanks are hooting and hollering about, they lost 2 of their greatest pitchers. lol Just heard this morning that ticket sales are up for them so I'm sure Steinbrenner is feeling pretty good. I cheer for anyone other than the Yankess.....unless I get good seats then I'm a "Go Yanks!" girl. lol

Enjoy your beach this weekend....we should be getting some decent weather the next few days, how about you?

Morning, gals:
I was expecting a bad chat today when Regis came out sick, but it actually was really entertaining. Thought Kelly stepped up well. I was very entertained by her recap of The Apprentice, especially "Omarosa is good TV." Agreed! (For that same reason, would have loved to have had Jonny Fairplay in Jenna M's spot on All Stars had she done the right thing and declined in the first place...I know, I know, he wasn't an alternate but I liked the controversy he brought to the show, and I really feel that helps the ratings) But those ladies on The Apprentice! They're taking the drama too far! What is it with the dirty looks and 'tude that won't quit....they all have that facial expression that screams, "Like, DUH!" Is that what they think it takes to get ahead? Katrina was AWFUL last night! Give me more of the men and their own brand of drama.

V, I can't imagine Regis staying home either. For that matter, Kelly was really ill a few months back for most of a week, and she kept coming in too....remember? Talking was making her cough. They just both take this 9:00 date with the viewers each day very seriously, I think.

V..

S,

Stop posting and start packing! lol

<<<I was expecting a bad chat today when Regis came out sick, but it actually was really entertaining. Thought Kelly stepped up well.>>>

Me too. I won't comment on her hand gestures, but she did come through with her own chit-chat today. Have to admit I did laugh when she said Mark reminds her of The Trumpster....lol. (you know, the "God is in the details" statement)

Forgot to make mention of the rules of Kelly's silence on Monday....she'll be slimed if she speaks and, low and behold, she'll be able to use que cards. lol

I have a question about the people who get fired....If you notice they all walk to the taxi with a nice little compact piece of luggage; actually they look small enough to fit in the overhead compartments. My question.....with all of their wardrobe changes how do they fit EVERYTHING in that one little bag? Cripe, I haven't seen any of them in the same outfit twice.....I know it's TV, but just wanted to comment. Maybe Omarosa, when fired and I hope it's soon, will walk out with a trolley full of bags. lol

Hey guys, What about Survivor ?? ..better than apprentice for me. Those 'girls' are emotionally labile, maybe bright and assertive, but naggers and whiners. !!

Good Survivor last night, poor Rob, to believe'Boston Rob',an admitted manipulator, but he does add pazazze, and after all it is a game and not a friend making adventure. Hope Rupert gets his confidence back after his 'grave' digging house experience. Jerry is kinder and gentler, this time around, but am sure she will get her grove on when she needs to.

V..
02-20-2004, 09:51 AM
Ok, this is my last post. Big weekend...galas and awards. I'm all set but it's getting both husband's ready that will be time consuming. lol

Survivor is great. I'm still pulling for the Saboga's. Jerry is much different from her first appearance, but I still don't care for her. (Although Alicia is also not a favorite of mine). Ugh, I couldn't stand Jerry crying and moaning over their worst night there...Ethan was exactly right, "We're survivors." Ethan and Rupert must get an alliance with one of the girls....maybe Jerry? I really can't see the guys voting against each other and if it's a tie, Ethan should go, right? I think he's had more votes against him than the others. But wait....Rupert had some also. Hmm. Monica, you out there? lol Do you know who'd get the boot if it were a tie between the men?

I hope Rupert can pull out a big ole' sturdy raft for them to make up for his blundering log cabin. Oy. lol

* Have to say they're eating pretty well....they're doing a good job fishing.

Well I'd have to say that after today's chat, I'd rather hear Regis go on and on about sports, after listening to him give the graphic description of upchucking in Joy's bathroom.

Kelly was sympathetic, though I think she should have stayed further away from him. I can see coming into work with a cold or something similar, but with the stomach flu he should've stayed home.

Re: Survivor...

Big Tom cracked us up last night. He was a hoot.

Amber looks soooo thin out there already.

I know,I was eating my breakfast, (I must have my coffee first;), not a pleasant conversation. Needless to say never finished breakfast.

If Regis has the retro virus that is going around, he should get a couple quilts and pillow ready for a pallett, because tonight he is going to be sleeping in the bathroom, he will not have time to run when the diarrhea hits.
The Carnival cruise ship in Galveston returned early last week because over 500 of the 1300 passangers were sick with the kind I had, both ends lol. Can you imagine?

You'll are getting all the cold weather, all I want is just one hard freeze,we have had 'cool' low 40s and rain, RAIN, RAIN all winter.

Just one question V.What would have been wrong with Regis staying at home?He should have done just that being so sick and all.He certainly can afford to stay home to get well.By the way I saw no one calling names here at all.

You gals! Too funny picturing V stepping out with hubby I on one arm and hubby II on the other. Some people have all the luck!

<<how do they fit EVERYTHING in that one little bag? >>
I guess the rolling suitcase is symbolic....the trunks arrive home later on a delivery truck. ??

<<Mark reminds her of The Trumpster....lol. (you know, the "God is in the details" statement) >>
Cute share.

Regis and Michael Davies on Entertainment Tonight....tonight! "I'm going to Double Dip the Three Wise Men...." lol

Enjoy your week, amigas!

Hey, Mucho Kudos to Hubby #2... I didn't want to bring it up, nor did I think you would appreciate any comments from me about the honor, but since you DID bring it up... That is a wonderful accomplishment for him, even though it is only
division III...

Enjoy your Gala(s), and come back rested and ready for Regis & Kelly to Do It AGAIN...

1. Why are you congratulating hubby #2? (I don't really have a
2nd husband, you do know that, right?) lol
2. What is the "wonderful accomplishment."
3. "Even though it is only division III"......WHAT is Division III?

* Had to go reread my prior post again.....Nope, nothing there that would make you "assume" any of the above. (Your were addressing your post to me, correct?)

I'd be happy to congratulate you V! What will I be congratulating you for? I know I among others, have complained that you don't wish some of us well, or congratulate us when there's something happy happening in our lives, and maybe you don't because we haven't wished you well or congratulated you. So please share, what did you win an award for? Was the gala just for you, or were there others in your field who were also recognized?

suzanne
02-22-2004, 07:52 AM
And I'm confused (doesn't take much) about Post #1 ... "Regis Back" ... I didn't know he was gone??????????

Hi suzanne,

No I wasn't kidding, V, you said you were accomplished in your own field....so you (I assumed you meant PK or anyone else who usually doubts you) may want to congratulate me. lol>>>

What may we congratulate you for, and why do you think I'm kidding?

Danielle
02-22-2004, 08:12 PM
I think we are supposed to congratulate the Vster for all the laughs she provides us with in her constant jealousy and nit picking of Kelly... She is you must admit very accomplised in that field..LOL
*clapping for V.*

lmroland
02-23-2004, 04:21 AM

I knew that sooner or later,V WOULD get an award for that! After all,she excels in that particular field.

That was so funny LM and Danielle.

But do you know what I was thinking? That maybe V.. got an award for jogging while blowing smoke out of her ass!

PK...
02-23-2004, 01:06 PM
OK...

That was NOT nice... I don't condone that kind of post regardless of which side posts it....

I genuinely don't think V.. blows smoke out her A$$...

I think it always comes out her ears...

PK wondering when the V.. would have time to actually have a "field" other than for soccer or livestock...

V..

PK...

LOL... Speaking of "Hoots"...

"Mama" made one post, (and a couple of LOLs...) and "someone(s)" wandered down the path of overkill...

"Mama" did NOT post "brags" and "secrets" in the same post, and then refuse to elaborate... "Mama" simply laughed - for good reason...

Perhaps the Braggart needs some counceling.. Perhaps the Braggart needs something else...

;0))

PK thinking the braggart knows not when to shut up??

Edit... Aw Geez... The V... Runs, not jogs... LOL... I feel bad for anyone with the runs... Maybe Kaopectate(sp) willl take care of that??
