What's Up With Host Scheduling?

I apologize for "beating a dead horse", but once again I have to ask "What is up with the Host scheduling"? Lisa R. to my knowledge has always hosted a minimum of one of the Maxx Handbag Shows. Today, she hosted none. It was announced earlier that Lisa Mason was hosting the 2 hours of Diamonique at 10:00 p.m. E.T. so I erroneously assumed that she was also hosting the Maxx Show which is currently on. So low and behold, we have Christa Pitts TV once again!!! What is up with this? Lena, Leah, and Christa hosted the Maxx Shows today. I wonder what Cherise (spelling?) Christmas thinks about this? I also wonder how Lisa R. feels about it. She and Cherise are friends as well.

SBTZMOM, At long last, you have solved the mystery of the Host Scheduling? The definition of QVC has changed!!!!! LOL On a serious note, I would like to know who Christa is impressing "upstairs?" Perhaps I just don't see the intrigue or talent?

Obviously QVC thinks Christa is doing a good job. Reminds me sort of when Howard Cossel was both the most loved and most hated sportscaster on ABC Monday Night Football. Even his detracters tuned in to watch him! Christa seems to be that on QVC.

I am so glad I wasn't home to watch Christa host those Maxx NY shows. I try to not watch when she's on unless it's an hour of stuff that I'm interested in.
I saw Lena and I must say she still needs a lot work but atleast she's on in the late shift but Christa seems to be on at all hours. Christa, Christa, Christa I just can't stand it.

And Christa should not even be mentioned in the same breath as Howard Cossel, he is a legend and she is_______, I better stop there.

I like Christa Pitts, although sometimes she sounds fake. She still is a pleasant host to watch and she seems like a nice person.

Hi. I think with the recent and impending host departures, QVC management is probably testing out different hosts at various times with a range of products categories, trying to find the optimum mix. Tracking sales/phone calls, etc.

Also, the more tenured hosts, like Lisa R. and M. and MBR, probably have contracts that specify a limit on how many on-air hours they must do. The less-tenured hosts might not have as much of a choice in how many on-air hours they work.

All of the above is pure speculation of course! I've no idea of the inside workings of QVC. Maybe someone who does can comment?
