Hi all, The wife was watching Clarkes footwear this morning. I noticed in the middle of the show Leah did a promo for Birkenstock... I was wondering how the guy from Clarkes might have felt that they used time from his show to promote another footwear product similar to his. I have seen this before when they were presenting the smoothie makers and then promoted cooks essential and the highlight was the cooks essential smoothie maker.

Loved to hear others input as to why they would promote another similar product during a show

It is strange isn't it Rick?

I was watching a bedding show on QVC and they were showing a Northern Nights sheet set and the host was going on and on about how great they were.

Then immediately after that they had an Amadeus sheet set and the host said that those were the best.

Well if those are the best then why would I buy the others? Ya know?

Yep saw the same thing the other night when they had the F&S ham... they all rave about how great the Kansas City ham is but then they talked about the F&S ham as being the only ham good enough to be a Today's special value.... I guess the best is always what they have at the moment.

I have noticed this too! I've just always thought the vendors accept this because they hope or believe that they will have one of their items previewed during someone else's show at some point.

Yet the conflicting comments on the ham should have never happened. Somebody put both feet in his/her mouth!

Some people will do anything for money, and it seems QVC will. That is down right rude

Interesting topic to say the least! I think they have just too many different brands of the same item. As someone eluded, if they weren't so money hungry, this wouldn't happen. They could care less about how products overlap. It makes them look even more untrustworthy. Just another dumb move by QVC.
