Where is Pat----again?

I missed the first presentation on The Morning Show. Did either Dan or Jayne mention Pat & where she is? It's going on a month now, except for last Monday's brief appearance, that Pat has been on air.

I was up for the begining of the Morning show, and they didn't say anything about her. I'm sure they know that the viewers aren't stupid....Maybe the post about Jayne saying last week that she'd be back in May was correct!! If you think about it, it would be about 6 more weeks off the air...and maybe they're hoping she'll be healed up and ready to go back on air. I hope so! :)

Neither Dan nor Jane made mention of Pat James. I am sure there must be some truth to Pat being on an extended vacation.

QVC doesn't want you to know the truth if they can help it. They dont let you know why hosts really leave. One of the bigwigs at QVC had it in for Margaux, so Margaux was basically given the choice to leave on her own or be fired. Haven't found out the whole story about Marianne Manko and why she left but QVC said it was because her injury still bothered her. Here is a host who, when assigned to the Mall of America, was walking around with a cane when not on camera! She did everything QVC asked of her even while injured and still they let her go. She now is a news reporter/anchor for a TV station in Texas. QVC is good for coming up with reasons that dont tell us anything.


When Dorian got fired, Rick Domeier mentioned there had been a "major model war but we aren't supposed to talk about it." Hosts have said Dorian and other models work outside of QVC (they all do and still work for QVC too) and Jill said Dorian was working in NY but you never know when she might show up again. Noone will admit she got fired. Well, it's been 6 months and still no Dorian (except they still show her BE promos).

I heard that several QVC models didn't think there was much to it (the "fight") and they didn't think Dorian should have been fired.
I also found out that there was an investigation about one of the Q models accusing one of the others of stealing her boyfriend away and writing her a nasty message; QVC found out the model made up the message to try to get her "rival" fired seeing how easy it was for Angela to get Dorian fired. And that particular Q model is still with QVC and still works quite often. I guess QVC doesn't think trying to get someone fired by lying and creating fake threatening messages, etc is that bad.

I dont know when Pat will be back or if she'll say anything. It's up to her and QVC I guess.

Where can I find a pic of Angela and Dorian? I read so many posts regarding these two and while I think I know who Angela is, I can't place Dorian. Never paid too much attention to the models til I found this board now I'm intrigued.

It does seem strange for QVC just to pretend like Pats strange appearance last week never happened. But I'm not really sure what they could say, unless they actually want to tell the truth which isn't likely.

I saw everyone's posts about Pat last week and was just curious, so I planned to tune in this morning. I heard a standard reference about tuning in Monday morning to see Pat and Dan, so I thought it was a sure thing she would be on. But I had it on at 7:00 and she wasn't mentioned. I don't usually watch in the a.m., but just wondering if you think they would get alot of calls from regulars who enjoy seeing them each morning.

hmmm...I don't normally watch the Morning show all the way through, but I'm waiting for someone to phone in, get on air and ask where she is...not sure if that's happened yet, except for someone asking Jayne Brown last week. Would be interesting to hear what they have to say.

It'd be interesting if someone called in to ask that and if they said she is on vacation they should ask - well who goes on vacation for 3 weeks, comes back looking awful then goes on vacation again?

When you go to talk to a host the customer rep says to keep your comments to the item at hand. And QVC has been known to cut some people off if they mention something they dont want talked about.

Susie: Dorian was on all the Bare Escentuals shows sitting next to Joy before last Sept 22 and is the model shown in the Bare Escentuals promos. She also was in most of the Southwestern Jewelry shows before then too. She was part Hawaiian and so had an exotic look. She had a round face with olive skin and long hair until last summer when she had it cut short. To see some store ads of her, go to:

Denim: Yes that is Aida and she shows up on QVC from time to time; I think you'll find more store ads with Aida than any other model at Boscov's. SOmetimes I wonder how she finds time to go on QVC!

I've seen Lorriane, Aiko, Iris, Thea, Susan (short blond hair), Kerri, Margaux St Ledger, Rebecca, and a few other QVC models pictured there.

Thank you so much Oldenuff for answering my post. I've been looking for Dorian's pic since I've been at the board and haven't had any luck til now. I know who she is and IMO she is much prettier than Angela. Not to say Angela is not pretty, but she was never one of my favorites at QVC. Boscov's changes their ads from time to time and Margaux's ads were there during the winter. I know I saw several featuring Margaux right after she left QVC. (just checked and still see one picture of Margaux under shop for her; fall outerwear; last listing: best value Preswick & Moore coats; misses. There is one shot of Margaux with another model and an ad of Margaux wearing a coat when you click on misses. That's all that's left now. Margaux also directs plays around Philadelphia:

Lary Moten cranks up the zaniness as Dr. Bengali and Tedesco, while Jeannie Sconzo gives depth as Helen Midthassel-Kazarnowicz, reluctant homeowner and mother of twins


Imagine an obstetrician who believes that laughter is the best and ONLY medicine for a woman giving birth! Now imagine that that woman is having twins! That is the premise of Times Two, a riotously funny short play about a family and their zany doctor, Dr. Bengali, and his equally ditzy nurse, Connie.


In the second part of the show, Homeowner's Blues, you'll find the same family several years later. Their twins have been born - Hermione, the girl, and Gingold, the boy.

They're totally rambunctious as their parents prepare to buy an old, dilapidated house from an unscrupulous realtor, Ms. Portico. Then, they flip when a crusty exterminator tells them about the bugs galore they can look forward to.


Dates and times: 8 pm, Friday, October 17; Saturday October 18; Friday, October 24, (no Saturday performance on the 25th); special 3 p.m. matinee Sunday October 26, and 8 pm, Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15, 2003.

Pat was not on the air again this morning. In fact, Jane Brown said that she will be with Dan tomorrow for April Fools Day. I suppose we will go through yet another week with Pat being on vacation. I just wonder how many e-mails and phone calls QVC is getting about Pat.

I don't understand why Pat attempted to come back in the first place..obviously she was in no condition to be back on the air in front of millions. I just don't get it.
