Anyone wear them? I gave them up years ago (after Dynasty went off the air)

I am at that age when I get hot just by standing up, so I want less and less clothes on me...no extra bulk has become not only my motto...it is a way of life!

Anyway, I digress...the reason I ask is because I am thinking of buying the Kathleen Kirkwood pads for my aunt. I'd appreciate comments on them if you've ever worn them :)

well others may just love them, but I've never been a fan.
I just feel like a linebacker with them. I have to hand it to Kath though, she is hanging on to this 80s thing long after many fashion mags have moved shoulder pads to the don't category.

I think shoulder pads are helpful. Without them you might have a frumpy appearance. Kathleen Kirkwood makes thin shoulder pads, not the bulky ones already sewed in some garments. I would never leave house without Kathleen's shoulder pads. I am thinking of getting the pints of pads set, maybe you want to get those for your aunt SBTZMom. :D

Denim....

Are those what they call "the ultrathin" pads? My Aunt has become a bit slump shouldered as she has aged, but still has a great figure, and is a good dresser...however I have noticed some of her blazers, and knits seem to hang on her lately. I thought the pads may be helpful to her.
Thanks for your input Denim...yours too Snow Tiger!
