Has anyone ever purchased Tear Mender and if so how do you like it?

I'm new here, but I've been enjoying reading the different posts. I ordered Tear Mender a few years ago, and it's come in handy on numerous occasions. It's really good for an emergency hem (especially on denim), and will stop the fabric from fraying. But I would suggest testing your fabric first - I used it on a silk-type fabric and it dried yellow (not very attractive). I haven't tried it on any other items. Hope this helps.

I really like the Tearmender--I've used it on a lot of things. Wish it was around when I was sewing those darn Girl Scout badges onto sashes! I use it mainly for hemming--I've even made tableclothes with it. I have a quilt on my bed that splits a seam now and then and I just glue it back in place. It also works for crafts. I bought it years ago and still have a ton left--a little goes a very long way. No more sewing machines for me.

I bought Tear Mender and it is fabulous. I had vertical blinds that were too long. I tried every product out there so that I didn't have to take them down and rehang them. Fortunately, I needed to hem them exactly 1 weight, (they just needed to be folded up 1 time at the bottom). I used T.M. and then took clothes pins to clamp them until the T.M. dried. That was about a year and a half ago and the "hems" are still locked tight. I have also used this to repair leather (it worked well) and of course on jeans (also works GREAT). Recommend it highly!

I have never bought the Tear Mender, although it looks very powerful. Once during a presentation the vendor freshly glued two sSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM of cloth. After waiting only about a minute, Dan and the vendor tried to show how strong it is, put it didn't work! Dan just said that they didn't wait long enough.
