I really love Aiko. She is so beautiful and I really love women who are so beautifully ethnic. I also love Joy - She seems so funny, and she is mighty pretty. I love that girl's lips! Wow - She's got some lips... There is another model I love, but all of a sudden I cannot remember her name... She just did the show with Lisa R. and Joan Rivers. She is such a beautiful African-American woman. What is her name again? She is gorgeous...

I always liked Aiko too and Angela (didn't know about all the Angela gossip, however). Trina (Treena?) always seemed nice too.

There used to be this one young girl with short blonde hair that I haven't seen for awhile. She was always there, then gone for a while (college?), then I saw her back and it's been a long time now since I've seen her. Can't remember her name. Really SHORT blonde hair...

Also Maria (the plus-size model Maria, not the older lady Maria). Beautiful girl with a wonderful smile. And I really love the black girl who is also a plus-size model. She is always so fun and cute. Can't remember her name either.

Hi Occaseshpr, I think you're referring to Carol, the tall redhead. Kathy L. used to call her "Trash". Sounds like a story there. I personally don't know what everyones sees in Joy. It's strange... she has lovely skin, eyes and lips, but I don't think she's good looking at all. I think Dorian was a real beauty. Suzanne is cute, but way too thin... looks like a lollipop. Iris has an amazing smile and Melissa is a pretty girl. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'll bet Maria (the blond) was very pretty when she was young. Hi QVCDude! Yes, Monica is an african/american model. She's on a lot. She's very slim with large almond shaped eyes... a real cutie. I think Angela has a great figure, but a homely face. Oh well, we can't all be perfect, like me! :)

Sioux (correct spelling of her name) was the model on the Morning show with Kerin until Trina and Angela took over. And the info about Angela is correct. I dont think too many models really like working with her. Jayne Brown even once said Angela was a devil when she wanted to be.
Staci (models like to use different spellings of their names) is on with Susanne (with 2 s's) is the other model on with Staci on Joan Rivers, taking over for Donna, another African-American model who got married to a pro basketball player and moved to Boston after having her first child earlier this year and no longer models. Carli is the thin model with short blonde hair. And Susanne is not as thin as Carli or Lorraine.

Kerri is my favorite model on QVC now (she often worked with Dorian and I think picked up a few of her habits too). There was an article in the QVC Insider about Kerri, Melissa and Shiela in the Feb issue. BTW: Kerri and Susanne had microphes on overnight Diamonique Day and I learned a few interesting things about them. Susanne has been married for 12 years and has at least one child. Christa has been married 7 years and Lena for 8. Kerri is still single but has a boyfriend. Kerri has also been with QVC for close to 10 years, though I dont think she was used that often until a few years ago.

Carole (FYI: I'm using the agency spellings of their names) has been with QVC for a long time and is more or less a partner with Stacey Scheffelin of Models Prefer.

Iris, Joy and Aiko are my favorite models.

Iris is a total hoot - really livens up the show.

Joy is hands down the most attractive person on the Q - love seeing her doing the Mojave Magic shows.

And Aiko is simply elegant.

I also like the older Maria - she's a class act.

I think the older Maria is beautiful. As I am nearing 40, I am starting to realize how beautiful having age on you can be. It seems that older women are more comfortable with themselves and that inner truth shines through.

Suzanne is achingly pretty. Carol was the first model I ever really noticed on any of the shopping channels, and that crimson-tressed minx motivated me to keep an eye on them simply to appreciate all the beauty and femininity.

I could be convinced that Kerri (Cary?) is the most fascinating model of them all. Not necessarily as classically beauteous as some of the others, but the only one who projects so much sass and personality on air. She could conceivably host one day herself. A stunning and magnetic woman.

Always liked Kerin. She'd be up there among my favorite models too.
Kerin and Sioux left at about the same time; Kerin came back as a vendor for Casa Lumina candles for a brief time, then returned as a model.

Dont know for sure but my guess is Joy is in her early 30's. Only models currently on the maternity roster are Suzi (short blonde hair who did the Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat presentations along with Dorian on PM Style last year) who is expecting next month and Daneene who is about 3 months along (mentioned on a jewelry show a few weeks ago). Pictures of Suzi are at Boscov's store in Philly in the maternity section.

I like the fact QVC is trying to involve the models more into the shows. They seem to be the forgotten part of the show. When a host gets a call, they usually neglect to mention the model (saying something like "Hi I'm Lisa and this is Judith Jack or Joe Esposito, what did you order" ... and the model is sitting there a few feet away probably thinking "hey I'm here too!"

Yep. QVCs policy when it comes to the models is they should be seen and not heard. And sometimes not even seen except for maybe a hand or an arm. Some shows make you think why did they even have a model?

I like the variety in looks, colors, and sizes of the models. And, ages, of course. Nearing fifty, I find myself paying attention to Maria, the model in her 50s. Noticing how she carries herself, how she wears her clothes. Picturing my head on her body! Yes, something to aspire to and work towards.

My favorite model has to be Karen. She's probably about 45, mostly does late night fashion shows. Very sexy and classy, and I just like the way she carries herself.

Two other older models I like are Carole and Trina. I can't quite explain, but these models in their 40s are my favorites at the moment. (I'm only 29)

Among the younger models, I like Dorian, who sadly is no longer there, thanks to that she-devil Angela. :(

Joy has been MIA lately. Just promos. Wonder if she'll be on next Mojave Magic show. She wasn't on Bare Escentuals.
The "evil" Angela is on Judith Ripka as I type this. I wouldn't say she is evil, just has a bigger ego than she should have.
Dorian is the model in the Bare Escentual promos and the one shown at the start of the shows. She also was on most of the Southwestern Jewelry shows before they put Alexandra and Shiela on them. Carolyn Pollack had some ads on her website featuring Dorian until a few months ago.

I've never heard Lisa Robertson mention any model named Julie and I watch QVC enough to to have heard if she mentioned that name. In fact I exchange emails wiht someone who personally knows one of the QVC models and there is no Q model named Julie. She would know if there was.

That bit of gossip about Dorian hitting Angela isn't true as far as I know; according to people who were there Angela had her fired for arguing with her with onlookers nearby and thus "embarrased" her. Sounds a bit immature to me. Angela has been known to do crazy things from time to time. QVC still shows promos of Dorian 9 months after letting her go (they showed one on a cooking show last night!) Of course what happened is all in the past now. I heard Dorian got married and who knows how the relationship between Angela and Georges Perrier is these days?

The news about Pam getting fired is stated on another post here. Pam hasn't been on in the last few weeeks and as everyone has noticed she lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. I noticed Carli hasn't been on for quite a while too. She has short blonde hair and is very thin. I dont think Daneene quit; she is simply on maternity leave. But then again with QVC who knows?

Funny thing about the Gwen Owens lawsuit. The jury has been deliberating for 3 days now with no verdict yet. Figure this out: Lena McIlwain and Patti Reilly started at the same time on QVC. Christa Pitts was hired a year later and Jacque Gonzales a year after that. Patti, Christa and Jacque are doing lots of QVC shows in the daytime but Lena seems to still be on mostly overnight. True that Lena had a baby since being hired and missed almost a year because of that. But it does seem interesting that Lena is the one who is relagated mostly to the graveyard shift with the newer hosts.

The hosts often mention their names. Just a case of putting the name with the face and if you've watched QVC for any length of time it's not hard to know who is who. Some models have been with QVC for over 10 years.

I'm delighted to inform OLDENUFF that there is in fact a model named Julie employed by QVC--she was on this past Saturday (July 10th) during the day, the host (Leah, I think) mentioned her by name at least twice, and I've got it on tape. She has been on air for at least a year, and often appears on Lisa R.'s segments. I will post a still as soon as I get around to it.

Just want to point out that those on this board (and others) who declared with great certainty that I was wrong, and that no such person ever appeared on QVC, are not infallible.
