Howard, your question about having to pay shipping and handling is one about which I contacted QVC directly. They explained that, since they have only so many employees, they've had to discontinue their policy of transporting orders to respective recipients by way of employee vehicles. It didn't leave enough time for their products to be COMPREHENSIVELY presented and properly handled. (Not many viewers know this, but the hosts delivered packages after their air-time, as well!) So, all in all, the S&H just HAD to be tacked onto the price.

I could not pass up responding to this Howard "person." I seldom disagree with you, but I need to make a few corrections to your post:

l. Some hosts, like Lisa Robbelson and David V. make $1,000,000, as they have gained so much attention on this BB.

3. I think Howard has an imaginary friend, as we did as children, only he is Steve Bryant. Perhaps he fantasized about having Steve as a friend while Steve was still on air. How sad it did not work out!

4. Why doesn't Howard simply email David V. and ask about his sexual orientation since that seems to be another fantasy of his? I am sure David would hit "delete" as he likely does with such emails.

5. The latest Gallup Poll on favorite QVC Hosts used religious orientation as one of their variables. Mary Beth was #1 among Christians and Jewish people.

6. OC, I thought you knew that small elves were on lease from Santa Claus to QVC to hand deliver packages at no cost, simply from tne charity of Santa and Mrs. Claus. However, as QVC grew, this service had to replaced with standard S/H.

7. Regarding the relationship between QVC and HSN; they are not engaged as each is already married; they are having a clandestine affair - so shhhhhhhhhhhh!! Don't tell.

Why are we devoting all of our efforts at humor writing to this bb? Is there not some grand, anonymously-monitored scouting agency that is searching for the "American Idol" of posters? Auditions should be eliminated....all of our best stuff is already right here in Trevor's vault. Just let 'em at it! We can all cheer each other on as we watch others in our league drop off one by one by one. The winner will go home with one million Q-dollars to spend at the Q, the honor of script writing for the hosts (just think of all those "annoying phrases" WE can squelch!), dinner ("and" ?) with their favorite host, the "Ronco Troll Buster" (batteries included) for unlimited uses at TVTalkshows.com, AND an unprecedented ADDITIONAL 18 HOURS in each and every day, for adequate time for posting!!!!!
