Polls are fine, but I would appreciate you not referencing sniffles in any of your posts. If you go back and look over the past few weeks, this person was someone whose posts were very disturbing, displayed increasing emotional unbalance to the point that I called QVC to report it. The most recent threads, in my opinion, espoused direct threats to Lisa R. and her safety. After my most recent call to QVC, we have not heard anything from sniffles. As I have said before, talking about or bantering with sniffles can encite him and also pose serious safety concerns for Lisa R. and Jacque. He has been off the board for over one week, and we really do not want to encourage him to come back. People like him thrive on attention, and just mentioning him could invite him back and resurrect his threats against Lisa.

Then why the hell are you lecturing us about him, astute?

QVC dude, I don't see it as a lecture. There are some newbies here and need to be aware of what has taken place. PEACE!

Thats not a lecture, Astute was just being kind enough to give the background on certain posters who are not all there shall we say.

I don't really want anyone to stop posting, but I want certain posters that are new to sloooowww down on starting threads. Since I have been only coming in to check a few times this past weekend, I don't have enough time to read some of these useless threads and taking these weird polls.

Hi Denim,
Your comments are very appropriate and appreciated. I too have only checked in a few times and have seen so many threads from the same newbies that I thought perhaps I was halucinating!! In addition, I thought menopausal symptoms of confusion were precluding me from comprehending some of the threads. Further, I thought I had watched too much CNN, too many political speeches, etc., and was dreaming about Gallup Polls. It seems to me that there must be a more constructive way of getting attention than starting so many threads. The next poll will likely be who started the most threads????
Oh H.A.L.O., what can a S.A.G. member do to efficiently manage his/her time, maintain their organization, and keep up with all of the new threads? LOL

My dear Astute, thought it would be fun to post my opinion, but it is quite clear you old timers resent the newbies taking up too much air time. I'll just contine to read (not post) and revel in your wisdom and knowledge of all things.

Hey, Astute & Co:
INSTEAD of playing on these boards, why not check out websites THAT TEACH YOU HOW TO GET ORGANIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like all the posters who keep posting about nonqvc-related topics to try to tone it down somewhat.
