I can help with the watch question. I emailed her right after Xmas and she (or maybe someone on her behalf) answered. The pink strap large diamond bezel watch is by Michele (yes, one l) you can get them at Neimans and I think Saks. They are pretty pricey. The large white one she sometimes wears is from Honora and much, much closer to my price range and is also from Saks. Hope this helps.

She used to wear a vintage Rolex too. She said on air one night that it was a present from one of the jewelers she worked with when she was the pearl princess.

Hey yankee. I inherited my grandad's 18k gold Longine's watch. It is so gorgeous. Even though it is a man's watch I still wear it. I think you may have "sparked" my watch fetish, again. There are a few I have my eye on right now.

Are we talking about the pink watch she wears all the time?? I like that as well... a few months ago..she was wearing this watch and customers were calling about it and she said that it was her personal watch, and that the host are allowed to wear some personal items when they are doing the shows, but she took it off that night, and said that she would probably "get in trouble for wearing that watch that night"... I seriuosly doubt that.. she seems to be the darling of the group.... I doubt if management would scold her for anything, I do believe she is their shining star..

Re: Lisa's pink watch (fabulous!) I heard Lisa say that she really splurged on her new watch. Must be way out of my budget. I just saw one similar to it on ShopNBC for $149. It has a diamond bezel (stainless) with 3 different straps to change out. Black, pink, blue. I am thinking about ordering it.

Hi Celestia, it's J121013. Let me what you think. I really like it. I've never ordered from shopnbc. Is the delivery time the same as QVC? How's their customer service? Talk to ya soon!

Mom:

Oh that is cool! Looks like a TechnoMarine which I've always wanted.

I wonder if it's large? I can never gauge these things online. I love large watches even though I have a small wrist. Just my preferance. The diamonds are obviously teeny but love the style.

I have had nothing but good experiences with ShopNBC. I returned a watch a couple of weeks ago. I swear they got it back and notified me of the credit within 2 days of mailing it back.

I love their jewelry. Much higher end pieces than QVC. But then they don't mass produce/sell like QVC does so you can still get product that seems like boutique style jewelry.

I've kept many pieces and sent a few back. Never had a problem with returns.

Enjoy!

When I saw it presented this morning, it looked large. I'm ordering it right now. Love the easy pays. shopnbc does that a lot. It sure does help. Fun to chat with you Celestia. I'll let you know when I receive the watch. Hope I love it. Have a great day :)

I'm soooo envious! Looks like a great deal. I love getting alot of versatility for my money but I have my eye on this particular Lupah!

When they were showing it this morning did they change the bands out by themselves or is it something you would have to take to a jeweler to have done?

Did it look well made? How about the diamonds?

I want that TechnoMarine watch myself. I am teeny tiny and I love big watches. I haven't worn a watch in a long time though. I had surgery on my right hand ( I am left handed and wear my watch over there) and they did nerve damage so i get little "shocks" when something is on my scar. Isnt' that odd? And I can't wear my watch on my left cause it bothers that hand AND that is wear I have my "Send Me an Angel" charm bracelet that I never take off! I had to take it off once to get my St. THeresa charm added on and I was in a car accident that very afternoon. Superstitious? Probably? But being I am sicilian and irish how can I help but NOT be?

Love you all my watch fiends!
Jen

Celestia, you raise some good points. I didn't see the entire presentation. I'm hoping I can change the bands myself. If not, I'll return it. Don't know the quality of the diamonds either. Probably not great... for $150 bucks. If it looks like bling, I'll be happy!! Hi Jen, I'll let you know too, when I get the watch. Hope you're feeling great today, sweetie!! Okay, girls, I have to get dressed! Can you believe I've been at this computer all day, gabbing and shopping. I must go to the supermarket... our cupboards are bare!!

Here's a challenge --- Let's see if we can convince QVC to replicate "Lisa's watch" in diamonique of course. Remember how they used to have "Kathy's ring"? That was a best seller. The only question I have is who can we contact that's high up enough to expedite this urgent request? If they think there would be a lot of interest and if they are thinking in terms of earnings per share, which we all know they are, then why not? I say we lobby this one.

There is an ecclissi watch on the Q (j58291) that looks a lot like the one from shopnbc. not real diamonds though, but cheaper. It is, however, on waitlist. I have this one and it looks great. you can easily change bands and i heve the extra ones that are hot pink, turquoise and biege.

I ordered an Eclissi TSV about a year ago. It had 2 interchangable faces (one with diamonique) and a red, brown, black and sterling interchangable bands. I've always liked the watch but the dern thing won't keep time. If it sits on my dresser it keeps time just fine. But if I wear it... it starts losing time immediately. Like about 10 minutes every hour. I don't think I wore it until I had had it at least 30 days and by the time I figured out that it was the watch and not just me losing my mind... it was too late to send back.

Big disappointment. Probably just a fluke as everyone seems to love all the Eclissi watches they buy and post about.

Just my luck!

:o)

Hi Momof2! Yep, I've bought quite a few things on Ebay. I've never sold anything, but I've got a lot of junk and would much rather sell it on Ebay than have a yard sale. I also did a search for replica Michele watches on google but not a lot came up. It must be a fairly new style.

I had trouble with the exact Ecclessi you're talking
about. Started losing time about 3 months after I had
it--but when I wore it. QVC replaced it. Have had second
one and I thought it was losing time and called Eclessi--
woman was very nice and said they would replace it
even if I didn't have sales slip. She did say the
battery might need replacing sooner than usual because
sometimes they're in watch too long before it's sent
out. Am watching it--it seems O.K. They have an 800
number. Woman who answered phone was wearing same watch.
I have three other Eclessi's and have never had problems.
Definitely call them!

I'll have to give ebay a try sometime. Is everything an auction or are there any set prices?

DocLove
05-05-2004, 07:56 PM
They have some items that are a 'buy now' set price. It's very addicting. Just beware it could suck you right in! ;) I always have a set price and won't go any higher than the bid I have set in my mind. It's fun, tho. Also, read the write ups on the items very carefully before you place a bid.

OK...y'all already know this, but here's the e-mail I received from Lisa R. answering my inquiry about her watch.

Hi, <yankee>.

My watch is not from QVC; however, I will gladly tell you about it. It's from the designer, Michelle, which can usually be found at places like Saks and Nieman Marcus.
Sure hope that helps!
Sincerely,
Lisa

P.S. I also like and sometimes wear the following watches that are very similar:
Joseph Esposito (J03096)
Honora (J04468).

Does she wear the diamond Michele, or the plain Michele?
You can find both online at discounted prices, rather than the full retail that either Neiman's or Saks would charge.

Going back a few posts, I am having a similar problem with an Ecclissi watch. Does replacing the battery fix the problem with the watch keeping accurate time, or the problem continues to happen? Thanks.

lancaster
05-25-2004, 08:18 PM
Which Eclessi watch is it? Is it losing time? Call their
800 number. They didn't care if I had receipt. A dmq
stone fell out of one of the changeable bezels and I'll
be calling them when I get around to it.
They have an 800 number. I have many Eclessi's but the
only one I've had problems one is with the changeble
bands, bezels, leather and sterling.

shopping:

Interestingly enough... since I posted about my Eclissi not keeping good time, I was forced to wear it to several dressy work functions and had to wear it all day for a few days. Suddenly it is keeping the correct time for the first time in the year I've owned it. Maybe I just had to wear it enough to break it in!

I never changed the battery in mine... I thought that was unnecessary since it was new and it kept perfect time as long as it was in the jewelry box. Seems to be working fine now.

Mystifying!

How strange! Maybe mine will do the same. I don't have the 800 number. Would QVC have it?

LJC
05-26-2004, 06:24 AM
QVC should definitely have the Ecclissi 800 number.
I checked the Ecclissi site, and could only find an email addy and a snail mail addy. But perhaps it is on there, and just eluded me.

Good luck in getting in touch with Ecclissi. I bought a watch a couple of years ago, and needed some extra links for the band. Since they always make a big deal about being able to get those, I called(800# is on warranty papers) ,and emailed . I left a message on the phone. Never got any reply. I kid you not, one year later, the links showed up at my front door. Better late than never, I guess.
