Hi everyone! I have been lurking for awhile & I recognize a lot of names.I have enjoyed reading these posts & decided to join in!
I really enjoy QVC,but I miss Judy! She was one of my absolute favorite hosts.I saw the thread for the Spring cards that QVC sent out.I got mine today,I also got the Simple Comfort one for March & April.I get those cards on a regular basis & have been for years now.My favorite one is the one they send around Thanksgiving when all the hosts sign the card! I myself like the 3 pay easy pay. What I dont like is the deferred pay, they hold the money out of your card anyway so I usually dont take advantage of that.I have been reading what you all are saying about Bob Bowersox & Rick D.I dont care for them either, also Dan Wheeler.BORING!
I cant wait for friday to see the host search show,I did check out the pics of them on the website & that one lady does look like Connie or Lynn from HSN-cant remember which at this moment.Anyway just wanted to say a friendly hello! -Samantha

Hi Vhisky! Thank you for the welcome! I just had to join,I couldnt hold back any longer! So who do you like on QVC & who dont you like? What do you buy most of,what are your favorite shows on the Q? I like Lisa R & Mary B,also Pat James D but dont get to see her much since she`s on at 4 in the morning here usually.I did enjoy seeing her on fashion day & on Diamonique day when she was on at different hours.Patty & Leah are fun too.Dont care for the guy hosts as much & not crazy about Lena,Laurie or Sharon or Christa.Lisa M is pretty cool too.I hope to hear from all the great people out there.I thank you Vhisky for being the 1st to welcome me!! -Samantha

An honor to get to be first, you seem like a sweet gal. I don't buy a whole lot from the Q, just mainly ogle the chicks, lol. My favorite shows, I used to dig the Star Wars and Star Trek shows, the old comic book shows Steve Bryant did bout 10 years ago. My favorite hosts are Patty Reilly, Pat James, Lisa Robertson, Jacque Gonzalez and Christa Pitts. I miss Judy too, she was cool. Can't stand Rick Boremeier, Boob Bowersux or either of the Dans. Everybody else I'm sorta lukewarm on. We're glad you couldn't hold back, this place is an addiction. Just get ready for that, lol.

Hi Samantha and Welcome! ALways have a good time chatting on this board.I don't post every day, but I do read it. I bought a few things yesterday on Smashbox day, the TSV and those one time only lip glosses ( before they quickly sold out)I just woke up and was watching some Eterna Gold items... I have three of the Bangle Bracelets and one hoop earrings. Like them very much.Last night, Lisa R made a comment that she thought the viewing audience had a lot of jewlery becasue of buying it from the Q.... She is right.. I used to be able to put all of my jewlery in a very small box. Now I have three Jewlery boxes of various sizes, all full of Jewlery from QVC ,for the most part...I almost never buy from anywhere else... ( with the few exceptions of Chico's watches, a few Fossil and an Invicta watch which I recently purchased)What are your favorite QVc items??
Again Welcome!!!

Hello to everyone! I am brand new to this board as well. Just found it yesterday and posted my very first reply to the "what was your first purchase" thread. I was happened across all this while searching for some article or something that would tell me about why Judy left. I had no idea she and Paul got married, but why did they both leave? She was one of my favorites. Seems like all the old-timers all left at the same time. I don't really dislike any of the hosts, I just admire them all for being able to do what they do every day in front of millions without their hands shaking and voices stuttering like I most definitely would do if put in that position. P.S. Love the "Denim & Co." moniker ... I am a huge fan of that line myself (along with anything Dialogue in euro-crepe and some citiKnits). I also read a post yesterday from "John" who says he lives outside Chattanooga, TN; so do I! This is so cool!

Hi Samantha & Momtoboys, and WELCOME! :)
This is a fun place and I have learned a lot since I've been here. (It's also fun to dish! heh)
The only bummer about this board as a whole is that it seems to be a troll magnet. Not so many here on the QVC forum but some of the others are just horrible. Too bad cuz I really would like to read/post to a few others but the trolls have completely taken them over.

Hi Samantha99 and welcome! Glad you decided to join our little family. I order makeup, skincare, clothes, jewelry, housewares, pretty much everything from the Q. I enjoy Lisa M. Leah, Lena and used to like Judy. The rest, I can take or leave. I'm a makeup junkie, tried just about every line. If you have any questions, just ask away! :D

Hello Samantha, I am brand new as well. Nobody else in my family watches QVC so I thought I was all alone, and then I find all you guys! This is saving me a fortune, I'm so busy reading everything about the Q that I haven't been on their website all day - I should have found this site a long time ago!
To Vhisky, are you "John" who lives in Tennessee? If so, I work in Chattanooga, so we are probably almost neighbors ... LOL! I had almost forgotten that the lovely and talented Lisa R. was born and raised right up the road in Collegedale - hard to believe she came from such a small town. Is that where you are?

Welcome to Samantha and Momtoboys!
Samantha, since Pat's on too early for you too, would that make you a fellow Left Coaster?
John, now that I know you used to watch the Star Trek shows--I have a distant memory of Lisa R. on in the middle of the night, wearing Star Trek shirts and sunglasses. I've never known if it really happened or if it was just a hallucination. Maybe you can set me straight.

You're nutso...never happened...
Oh, ok, yeah it happened. She apparently is a huge Trekkie (or so she said in those days). She did almost all the shows back when she first started at the Q. She was cute in her little Starfleet uniform, lol.
Hi Samantha, welcome to the board.
I'm fairly new here myself and I don't get on the board as often as I would like but when I do I always enjoy reading the posts as I'm sure you will too!

John: I'm so relieved. I was afraid I'd made it up. Wouldn't want to analyze THAT dream.

Hey Samatha. Welcome to the board.
Vhisky, I remember those Star Trek shows too. Its hard to believe that a hottie like Lisa is a Trekkie. I'd love to see her host another Trek show in her Starfleet uniform wouldn't you? :P

Hi everyone! Thank you for all welcoming me! I was hoping to have a good response & I wasnt disappointed! I remember those Star Trek shows with Steve Bryant! Steve was such a dork but he was funny! I loved it when he did those Halloween shows,he was so funny! Now he`s doing those Esteban infomercials,I couldnt believe it when I saw him on channel 3 doing those! Yes,I am in Washington state. Some other things,I`m not a big fan of Jill either! Our fav Rick D is on now with Royal Palace rugs.I like those & have 4 of them, not the huge ones but the meduim size & some accent ones. Thanks everyone for saying hi back & welcome to the other newbies too!

When that guy on the rug show holds up that sample rug with the different colors, its always looks like he's naked from the waist down and they're scrambled it out...lol.

Thank you Yankee, or should I say in true Southern style, thanks shugah!! My moniker just means I'm a mom to four sons, but it does sound a little like boyz2men doesn't it?
And Denim, you're right - a "moniker" is a slang or nickname for someone. Come to think of it, I should have used something a bit more creative like "Q-Queen" LOL!
