Has anyone bought any of her pieces? I absolutely love her work but I was having a "QVC tantrum" last night since they messed up ANOTHER order and I was refusing to ever order again. Then the pieces I wanted sold out. I was just wondering what everyone thought. Since I am now condependent on my fellow BB'ers for buying things. Do you think there is a way y'all could come to TJMAxx with me to help me "weed" out my basket?

Jen,
I saw a little bit of that show last night. (or was it this morning when I was getting ready for work?) Oh well... can't remember... anyhoo... they have similar if not EXACT stuff on ShopNBC called umm... something like "Golden Frost Collection" or something like that. If I recall the prices are much lower... (like half) for much the same stuff.
Havn't ordered anything... but love the big chunky pieces.

Celestia, you uttered that dreaded "w" word! lol
I think I have seen that on ShopNBC. I am so afraid to order from them again. A while back I placed an order than a few months later this odd charge showed up on my bill for some travel club. ShopNBC at the time would just freely charge stuff to you for various stupid clubs and "ClaiM" they sent you a notice to cancel. You know, now that I think about it they may have been Valuevision. Regardless, I am still a bit iffy about ordering. Have you ever had any problems with them? And could I BE more wordy this this morning?

Jen, I had this happen to me also, but I think it was because I answered a survey on time at the end of a shopping experience. Somehow I got the name of the Co. and they explained the same thing to me about a notice where I could cancel. They took the charge off and I don't answer those surveys anymore. Biz-Rate survey (a pop up after the purchase - I think that is what it was).
I have shopped at ShopNBC for about a year. Their stuff is much different that QVC. Bought some jewelry and some leather jackets and a purse. I have returned items, either they didn't fit ( because some of their XS are actually XS and since I am sometimes inbetween
or really closer to a small (4-6 top and 2-4 bottom)). Or the item just didn't look like I thought it would or I knew that I really wouldn't wear it( what a run on sentence!!). I have always gotten credit right away with no problem.

Jen,
I honestly have never had anything but positive experiences with ShopNBC. Not to say that I havn't sent things back... I probably send back 1/2 of what I order because I change my mind or get buyers remorse or its too big or too small... (not their fault, I tend to flucuate in sizes!) Probably my only criticism is that jewelry sizes tend to vary from vendor to vendor. For example I wear a size 5 ring. I have ordered a 5 in one vendor that will just spin on my finger and a 5 from another vendor that is too snug. So then I'll order a 6 thinking that I'll get it right this time but then that vendor will make a size 6 that I could wear as a bracelet.
I order lots of watches and send 80% of them back because I adore big huge watches! But when they get to the house they are too freakishly large for my wrist and there's not a jeweler in the world that could take out enough links. So I have to send back. But it's more because it's my taste and occasionally I'll find a big watch that will work on my wrist.
All returns show up on my bill in a timely manner and I get notification of them ASAP in email.
Maybe I've just been lucky. I still love the Q... but ShopNBC gets my vote when it comes to gold and gems.

HH-ok...so I cheeted a bit on my new diet....
I did order the AK initial pendant but it was only because I have been hunting around for one and it was the only one that I liked!
As for NBC...thier hosts are DREADFULL but I have gotten some great stuff from them...my invicta watches..and most recently this AWSOME venetian glass 18k and 925 enhancer....it is honestly one of the coolest things that I have gotten! People are drawn to it!

I loved that initial pendant I can't have enough crap with my initials or monogram plastered all over it. That pendant wasn't so spendy and it was lovely.
Just say you are starting your "diet" on Monday.

I have several of her pieces. the cross charm bracelet and the fleur de lis ring are faves of mine. Her stuff is high-end, i have some of her husband's pieces and they are of similar quality, but his-from Saks and Neimans are much more.

Her pieces are nicely made and a great value at the prices they sell them for.

i just ordered the initial pendant...it's been on my wish list for about 8 months...and i ordered a 24" foxtail of hers to go with it. can't wait to get them...i'll certainly give feedback when i do...foxtails are my favorite chains, and finding one--especially a long one--in silver was a great surprise!
