Birks on Ebay...

Has anyone ordered Birkenstocks from Ebay. I see they have quite a large selection, especially from sellers bugeeco and baumhouse. They say they are "new in box", but are they true Birks? I ordered from QVC Saturday the Asian triple strap, the one Jill was saying had a "chinoiseree" look to them. And then I saw them on ebay for $30 less! They have alot more on ebay I'd like to buy. Any input you guys have would be great!

I've gotten one pair from ebay. They are real birks. I got mine from a seller in Germany. No problem at all.

Baumhouse is completely reputable. I have ordered several pairs of Birks from them and highly recommend them!

Yup, Baumhouse is EXCELLENT! I always pay for AIRMAIL and get mine within 2 weeks. (If you live in the East US you might get them even faster) They are always brand new, UNWORN, original Birkenstock. I would not hesitate to buy from Baumhouse. They have a website too (baumhouse.de) from which I've ordered and gotten the same excellent service. They are very nice people and always ship within ONE DAY of your payment.

There is another Birkenstock seller on ebay called (something like...) roadtruck. I would NOT buy from them, however.

I bought from bugeeco (they are in the US) a couple times and they also provided excellent service.

I feel kind of "traitor-ish" not buying from Sally at QVC. Is that crazy??

The reason I started getting mine on ebay instead of QVC is because I wear the 'R' width and the Q mostly just has the 'N' width. Besides that, you can get even better prices on ebay. Just be careful who you buy from!! The recommended sellers in this thread are tried and true!

I just want to add that I also purchased Birkenstocks from Baumhouse, and found the selection, service and price to be the best. Just make sure that you know what you want before you order because returns are difficult since they are coming from Germany. I also prefer Zappos.com to QVC. They have a better selection and the delivery is super fast and returns are free!

I have also ordered from zappos.com and they totally ROCK! As already mentioned, shipping is free and super fast, and returns are free. Also, if you find any lower price online they will refund you 110% of the difference. You really can't go wrong :)

cangal......I think it took about 2 weeks for them to arrive, and shipping was only 8.50. I have a bid on ebay right now with baumhouse. I'm glad to here how good they are. This will be my 2nd pair off ebay.

And the thing is, you simply CANNOT beat the prices on ebay! I've spent hours in the past looking at all the websites out there. Even the ones that say they are discounted, 'best price', etc, and none come CLOSE to the prices you can get on ebay and that even includes paying shipping charges from Germany!
