Anyone have plans for the long weekend? My family and I are driving to a little place about 5 hours south of us in Kentucky that has tons of shops and live country music shows. I cannot wait!

Everyone have a safe and happy weekend and watch those gas price soar!

Have a nice and safe trip Penbrat.

I'm just going to stay at home tomorrow and watch the World War 2 memorial dedication on TV and then maybe rent a movie or videogame. Then on Sunday I'll be doing some traveling too plus trying to see as much of the Indy 500 and World 600 that I can.

I am staying home while my husband and step son are at the WWII Memorial Dedication in Washinton DC. I am petrified of travelling, so I will watch it on TV with my pups! I am also going to a statue place and getting a life-size cement German Shepherd statue, much to my husband's chagrin!

Sat. Weight Watchers meeting and than house cleaning. Sun. take my 85 yr old mother grocery shopping, that's a 4 hour trip. Than to the cemetary to make sure my father and FIL have a flag. Mon. is cleaning up the mess in the house my husband will make while being home. Tues. back to work. Don't I live the life of reilly? lol

I actually hate to travel, done enough of that when I was younger. My husband mentioned going to Las SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM this year I told him have a good time. Doesn't bother me if he goes.

WOO HOO! HURRAY! YAY! IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY!

Prom weekend here. Darling Daughter #2 will be her spiffiest self by this time tomorrow. Sunday hubby and I are going to see "The Day After Tomorrow"--I know, the reviews aren't that great, but the special effects should be interesting. And yes, we will spend time reflecting on Memorial Day too. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I'm hoping to get a little shopping done, I'd like one of those outdoor fireplaces where you can sit out on a not so hot summer night and enjoy a cozy fire. I think Sears is having a sale. We also need a new patio set so I'm hoping to pick one of those up as well. And just enjoying a nice barbeque.

Everyone have a great weekend.

I'm heading up to O'Hare airport to pick up my Fiance. (He's coming over from Ireland) and we plan on having a pretty quiet weekend. Just a BBQ with some friend and family if the weather holds out!! (rainy forecast here in the Chicago area! :( )Or it will be a DVD weekend! And then we're off to San Jose CA on Tuesday for a week to visit 2 of my sisters.
