Okay, since this came up on another thread, I thought I would address the abbreviation thing.....Some of us newbies and nerds don't know what the abbreviations mean--I just only recently learned : ) was a stinking smiley face!

So I don't have to question if people are swearing at me in some QVC chat room code, let's post some of these abbreviations to help us dorks out, okay!?!?!

I did hear one on the radio today that I will start with--haven't seen it here, and you'll know why, but I liked it!

LOL = laugh out loud

LMAO = laugh my ass off

LMFAO = laugh my f**king ass off

ROTFLMAO = rolling on the floor laughing my ass off

i should have started a new thread. Maybe Sanjoro (Sandy) will come back and make a new listing for us, she did a great job on the Personal Info Directory. But I wouldn't blame her if she didn't, it is a lot of work and time consuming.

We used to use "WTFO" in the Army when someone said something really stupid and we wanted them to repeat it just make sure it was as stupid as we thought! It means "what the f..., over?" (sort of like radiospeak)

Okay, we have this old fashioned dairy/ice cream shop by us. It has been around since the early 1900's, and they make their own ice cream. There are two flavors that would knock your socks off.....BIRTHDAY CAKE and COTTON CANDY. They both tast EXACTLY like the real thing. Birthday cake actually tastes like yellow cake batter! MMMMMMMMMMM!

I bought a quart of each for my friend's birthday party at my house last night. We didn't finish it because it is sooooooo rich, so I just finished off the cotton candy one. Can't have it go bad, you know!
